I have read it and to me this is a total smear job based on nothing. Actually it’s worse than that because Rush identifying a non-soldier as phony is supporting the real troops who a$$es are on the line, similar to the Navy Seals exposing fakes.
Fan or not, it’s disgusting what the rats are trying to pull and they need to be exposed in this attempt at the “Big Lie”. Letting them get away with it will only embolden them.
Now I wonder if this talking head is listening to a station out of space, or has he some kind of hallucination's, because the AM 610 station WIOD out of Miami came in loud and clear and I never heard anything coming close to what these cool-aid drinking baboons are hearing!!!

I agree. Fox News has been running an ad at nearly every break from John Gibson at 5pm into the evening programs done by a brain injured soldier who claims Rush called him a "phony soldier," saying Rush should have the balls to call him that to his face, etc.
I think they figured out from the ads they did in MO with Michael J. Fox in '06 that they could trash Rush, put words in his mouth he didn't say, and claim he made fun of disabled people, and that most people would buy their lies and vote against Rush even though Rush wasn't running for anything. I believe they think they can take Rush out like they did Imus and the rest of conservative talk radio will vanish pre-election as the station owners hurry to dump their conservative lineups to curry favor with the Democrats and not lose their license to broadcast something, anything, post election.
Most of the Republicans look like deer in the headlights - at least the ones who haven't headed for the tall grass.
I'm afraid this is just a glimpse into our really bleak future. The Republicans have never figured out how to counter when the Democrats are on the attack. This time the Democrats have a plan, at least 10X the $ they usually do, and are facing the same inept cowards who can't or won't defend themselves.
Please tell me what the hell is it going to take for somebody, anybody to call these freaking idiots out!!!!! The Dems have compared our military to Hitler, Pol Pot, and terrorists. They have accused our military of being rapists, murderers, and being too stupid to do anything with their lives.
Perhaps someone with some stones can put together a synopsis of their quotes, maybe do a video and show it.

If you're human at all, the sight of someone who's lost a limb or limbs tears a hole in your heart. But there are people there who's injuries are as severe but not as heart wrenchingly obvious. But that's not as useful as a club for this clown.

The democrats must think the American people are real stupid. The things they accuse Rush of saying don’t come close to the horrible things members of their own party said about the soldiers. They're trying to divert attention from the embarrassment of having to align themselves with an outfit like MoveOn.org and take their support and direction, in many cases, because they raise so much money for the Democrats.
And MoveOn, you know, practically calls Petraeus a traitor, and most of them don't vote to condemn them for that. And yet they'll take something that somebody like Limbaugh says, which is — which was totally a distortion of what he was talking about, clearly, and to try to divert attention from it, and go to the Senate floor, and take the time of the United States Senate to personally insult him.
And, you know, that's one of the reasons why Congress has an 11 percent approval rating. You know, here we are trying to determine what the United States' role in the world is going to be, coming into the age of weapons of mass destruction and radical Islam around the world, we're trying to keep our country from going down the road to economic chaos with the kind of locked-in spending programs that we've got that inevitably we have to do something about, this is what they take time on the United States Senate floor to talk about. And I just thought it was time that I said my piece on that little part.
What kind of waste of our effing tax dollars is this? Can’t these people do the friggin’ jobs they’re being paid to do rather than waste time and money on this boogereating nonsensical bickering?!!? At least they could sweep the floor of the Senate chamber! Something! Anything!
My next guest is also supporting Rush. And he's a pretty powerful guy in his own right, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

The Democrats are just trying to — to move past this outrageous ad in The New York Times by MoveOn.org calling General Petraeus, in effect, a traitor. I don't know — you know, when we actually voted on that, about half the Democrats in the Senate voted with us to condemn the ad. They had a similar vote over in the House, and more of than half of thee House Democrats also voted to condemn the ad.
That was something worthy of condemnation. Rush Limbaugh didn't say anything that he should regret or that we should condemn him for.
I think the Demorats will lose control of Congress in 08.

So let me get this strait. Sometimes in the mid 90s Rush started sounding like he was brodcasting form the White House basement. The Clinton White House basement. You are full of it, my friend.
I haven’t read of a single request for an apology from Rush by any of our Military personnel.
Armed Services Radio hosts the program, I’m certain our Military personnel are aware of all this crap. It’s between them and Rush as far as I’m concerned, and if our Military personnel don’t feel offended by Rush calling liars “Phonies”, then it’s a done deal.
