HillaryMatters.org is calling for people to call/email their local radio stations that carry Rush Limbaugh's show to encourage those stations to remove him because of the phony phony soldier fatwa against him.

I say, yes, let's contact our local Rush Limbaugh station today and PRAISE them for carrying Rush's show and for supporting Free Speech in America today!! I've already contacted mine (wbap.com) and it only took about 5 minutes.

I think we need to FReep our radio stations and commend them for keeping Rush on the air!

BTW--isn't HillaryMatters.org breaking the rules for a 501c by promoting this sort of thing?? I thought they were supposed to be non-profit, non-partisan, etc.!

ERR Amerika failed because their programming stunk!!! Thus, they received minimal advertising dollars.

Which, by the way, is just fine by me.

I can do that, no problem. But radio station managers count all calls, positive and negative, as a sign of a show’s success. The salesmen for airtime show those figures to prospective advertisers as a total. All calls are good news for the station and the show. More calls indicates more listeners which justifies higher ad rates.

It has come to my attention that there is currently an orchestratedcampaign by “MediaMatters” underway to pressure radio stations to remove Rush Limbaugh from their lineup based on his “phony soldiers” remarks.

I am writing at this time to express my support for Mr. Limbaugh, and to urge you not to give in to any pressure you might be under. Rush Limbaugh is as troop-friendly as any radio-host in this country. His remarks have been taken out of context and intentionally misconstrued to create controversy where none exists.

This campaign has little to do with support for soldiers, and is instead an orchestrated effort to censor one of the leading conservative voices in this nation.

I am a regular listener to 740am, 950am, 790am, and various other ClearChannel properties. I urge you to withstand this pressure, and assure you that I, and thousands like me, will continue to support your radio station.

Will write and call my local station for sure! My local station is owned by Clear Channel, but will do it anyway because it might be that the local station could choose to put Rush on at a different time. Often wondered how they know the number of listeners they have. If I thought it would help to have every radio in my house tuned into Rush, I sure would do it!!:)

Thanks! It was great to get to talk to Rush! Wish I had remembered to tell him about this, but bet his staff will have seen it. Just shows again the lies of AL GORE coming out in the UK over his movie being shown in schools. Was interested it happened on CNN!! :)

Thanks, it was a joy to talk with Rush! I am just delighted that the DEMS have finally done enough to help do themselves in! Doing what they did and continue to do to Rush is sure making it happen. It is backfiring big time and they are too stupid to see it coming. Hope the Media Matters/Hillary connection is explored. They are tax exempt and Hillary said she helped “start and support” Media Matters! Where is the IRS????? :)
