All this information was available to Congressman John Murtha before his cold-blooded killer slander on May 17, 2006.
This information was also leaked to the media more than a year ago. But they suppressed it in favor of a lie about a massacre.
For more, see...
Well, with the closing of the SSgt Frank Wuterich Article hearing, the investigation into the enlisted Marines is now officially over.
inquiry prepared by US Army Maj. Gen. Eldon A. Bargewell is an obscure Marine Corps intelligence summary (see pdf) that says the deadly encounter was an intentional propaganda ploy planned and paid for by Al Qaeda foreign fighters.
Well known by many for over a year!
Our media, the enemy within
Yep ..... the ENEMEDIA
Hat tip ping!
This is stunning!! Our military is being framed by AQ and nobody is stopping it?? Wonder if the DNC was in on the AQ charade??
Pray for W and Our Marines
They should throw this whole thing out now.
Pray for W and Our Marines
Is there such a thing as treasonous sedition? Or do I have to pick one or the other? Murtha and members of the enemedia should get a fair trial, followed by a first class hanging!
Al Qaeda in Pennsylvania.
Veteran military defense attorney Gary Meyers said he never understood why the Naval Criminal Investigative Service special agents leading the Haditha criminal investigation didnt "examine the linkage" between Al Qaeda, the local insurgency and the events at Haditha.
SECNAV Winter should require a thorough investigation of the NCIS. If he doesn't require that, he should be fired from his position and replaced by someone who will investigate the total ineptness of the NCIS and this investigation of the Haditha Marines.
To be added to the Murtha Watch ping list please notify myself or RedRover.
Sorry, but I don’t see anything inept in this,IMO, it smells of something far worse.
Democrats Chastise Limbaugh for Insulting Troops
Oct. 6, 2007
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has introduced a Bill of Attainder against conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh for usurping the prerogatives of congress. The flap started when Limbaugh characterized self-proclaimed war hero and war critic, Jesse Macbeth, a phony soldier.
It is not for Mr. Limbaugh to say who is or isnt a soldier, Reid said. Nor should he be casting aspersions on brave men like Jesse Macbeth for their outspoken opposition to the atrocities committed by our troops. Congress is the judge of these matters.
Reid asserted that the testimony of soldiers like Macbeth has been corroborated by many others. Senator Kerry (D-Mass.) has informed me that our troops have been terrorizing women and children in the dead of night, Reid went on. Congressman Murtha (D-Pa.) pointed out that our Marines have been killing civilians in cold-blood. I have heard similar stories from Senator Durbin (D-Ill.) and Senator Obama (D-Ill.).
As it turns out, Macbeth who claimed to have been an Army Ranger was in the Army only 44 days and never served in Iraq or Afghanistan. The lack of actual participation in the war did not stunt Macbeths imagination. He described how he and other U.S. Army Rangers slaughtered Muslims as they prayed in a Baghdad mosque.
Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) cautioned that we not rush to dismiss Macbeths account of atrocities just because he embellished his war record. Harkin said boasting about ones military service is a harmless vice akin to fishermens tales of the one that got away.
Harkin once claimed to have flown combat missions in Vietnam, only to later be forced to admit that he only flew into Vietnam on a few occasions to sample the killer weed and get some action with hot Asian babes.
Reids bill calls for Limbaugh to be permanently banished from the airwaves and to perform two million hours of community service helping non-English speakers register to vote.
IMO, it’s both but I see your point.
You are right, it is both, much as it was the same to appoint an incompetent JAG to defend my nephew.
If so, this is damning evidence that will only help SSgt. Wunterich's case against Murtha; and I would hope that the rest of the prosecuted Marines likewise sue Murtha, McGirk, and TIME.
Bears repeating! Same goes for NCIS, politicians, the media and everyone else who failed America in this travesty.
You’ve got the “Palm grove” as being all the way down the river to the safe house. The “Palm grove” was off the detail to the north, near where the captions for it are in the unviewable PDF.
I do not believe the spots you have marked “3” are anywhere near the locaton of the events in what the reports call the “Palm Grove”.
Likewise, I don’t believe the “Second IED discovered” and “EOD team attacked by small arms fire to be anywhere near location “2”
Since the video is supposed to be time-coded perhaps you could provide the actual time of each of the captures that were posted relating to the “Palm grove” incidents and the drive south.
I couldn't say that with confidence. But it's the 3/1 would have told McGirk if he had bothered to show up for their meeting.
And this information was given to Gen Huck and others who saw no reason to investigate--and have been censured by the SECNAVY.
Fabulous! Thanks for the links! Clarice Feldman is one smart cookie and a terrific writer.
You forgot the Rail! It would add a little more aerodynamics and involve some group participation!
Held accountable by whom? By the same people who gave the NCIS and JAG prosecutors their marching orders to railroad some Marines for the Haditha hoax in order to do the politically correct thing "for the good of the Corps"? The same hack-politician officers and civilian leaders who have made an art form out of running scared from the liberal newsrooms?
Ain't gonna happen.
I long ago gave up on these scumbag ACLU prosecutors of JAG and their sleazy minions at Naval Service Investigative Criminals being "held accountable". They were given a mission, and (never thought I'd say this!) thank God these Marines were able to retain civilian lawyers.
Thank you for posting this important bit of information!
Thanks for the links, fifi. I’m very glad to see Clarice Feldman pick up on this, she’s always right on the mark with her analysis of an event and being a good lawyer knows of what she speaks.
The caption for number 3 is misleading. I meant it to refer to River Road. I’ll correct. Thanks!
I may need your help with the video. I’ll post it in sections early next week.
We both know the SECNAV is the only one who can do it and Winter isn’t going to, he’s already said that. Sadly, he probably won’t be replaced either.
Never faithful Murtha bump!
From Powerline:The NYT could find only one person critical of brave Officer Ware’s report but ehy failed to disclose something about him (from Powerline):
“Actually, the Times cites just one expert who voices what is evidently the paper’s own disappointment at the collapse of the case against the Marines: Eugene R. Fidell, who is identified as “an expert in military law in Washington.” Mr. Fidell has the article’s money quote:
It does surprise me to see that the killing of seven women and children by grenades and rifles, for the purposes of clearing structures, is being treated the way this investigating officer has treated it.”
Where did the Times go to find an expert who would articulate the house view of the Haditha killings? Well, to be fair, I think Mr. Fidell is indeed an expert on military law. He is also, however, married to Linda Greenhouse, the hyper-liberal reporter who covers the Supreme Court for the Times—a fact that the paper did not consider it necessary to mention. So the Times didn’t have to look far for an expert whose opinion would give the right conclusion to an article on how guilty Marines beat the rap.”
The picture above is corrected. Regarding numner two, we don’t have precise locations for every point in the timeline. The numbers are meant to go with specfic text—not the entire block.
Murtha’s a crab
I only say that because other words aren’t so nice.
McGirk received his video "evidence" and contacts from two known Iraqi insurgent operatives already under observation by Marine Corps counter intelligence teams. One of the Iraqi witnesses McGirk relied on had just been released from almost six months captivity for insurgent activities and the other witness was considered a useful intelligence tool by Marines listening to him talk on his cell phone. McGirk never interviewed the Marines, who ironically had prepared a similar intelligence summary in anticipation of his canceled visit.
The summary labeled "Bargewell Discovery" pages "001083" thru "001108" was prepared by 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines using UAV images, statements obtained from the informants, and intelligence gleaned from captured insurgents to explain what happened. The information was detailed in 13 Draft Intelligence Information Reports (DIIR) from a Marine Humint Exploitation Team (HET) operating in the area.
I would hope that the rest of the prosecuted Marines likewise sue Murtha, McGirk, and TIME.
YES! EVERY LAST ONE OF THESE DESPICABLE LIARS!
A rail? My, you ARE a traditonalist! (And what a good idea!)
It’s the carpenter in me, and I’ve had several on hand, nice and splintery.
“Once more into the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our English dead! In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility: But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger; Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage; Then lend the eye a terrible aspect.” Henry V
Don’t know why this is in my head, may perchance be the legend of “pluck yew”, or it might be because of the anuerism.
Ping - the Media is our enemy within.
Nice quote! How’d that anuerism thing come about anyway?
It is just an almost daily occurrence brought on by exposing
my fragile psyche to the continuous onslaught of B.S. from the beloved ememedia, it tends to make me seem a tad unusual.
“And all who heard should see them there,
And all should cry, Beware ! Beware !
His flashing eyes, his floating hair !”
Samuel Coleridge Taylor
My Poetry prof in college was a demolition expert that fought the Japanese in WWII.He became a very good friend. He was continuously appalled and greatly saddened by the damage he did with his booby-traps, etc. His traps had the great facility to be able to distinguish between Us and Them, noncombatants, wildlife, etc., you see... He was killed while climbing The Grand Teton in 1982. I still see the grief in his eyes. Feel the pain in his heart. I miss him.
To Lardass Murtha:
Has the “staged atrocity” aspect been reported in the media?
The schematic is a little unclear since it doesn’t show where the other two IED’s were found. That would be helpful in showing the entirety of attacks that were allegedly planned for that day. The two IEDs that were discovered at 0835 and 0915 appear to be in close proximity to the first that was exploded at 0716, based on some work that RS has done. If all three IEDs were connected, insurgents were planning on maximizing the damage on Nov. 19, 2005.
RS and Red, would it be of any help to show the two schematics where timelines and general locations are shown for comparison? It’s not definitive, but gives a general feel for the actions/timeline.
