October 7, 2007 Op-Ed Columnist I Did Do It By MAUREEN DOWD
Washington
O.K., folks, you want the truth?
The whole truth and nothing but?
After all this time, youre still dying to see the mystery solved?
Fine. I did it. Everything A. said lets just use the initial because its still hard for me to speak the name of my victim and tormentor was true.
I did what I had to do and I didnt care if it ruined A.s life. I didnt even care if people thought it was obscene.
I knew I was misusing my position, but I enjoyed having that kind of raw power over A. and saying the things I said. It made me tingle all over. Im not going to deny that.

in light of her being a Clinton apologist, this makes me puke. witch face needs to get her head examined.
Even for MoDo, she’s confusing. WTF is she talking about!?
A.H. fit both of these beasts perfectly
poor barren unfulfilled woman....not so homely....she could have found happiness but instead chose to let her demons rule her
It’s not worth the pictures to read her articles. I liked it better when she was pay per view.
I find it incredible that with blatant attacks like this, decent people have no recourse for slanderous/libelous attacks them?!?
I’m normally not litigious, but I’d make an exception if I were Justice Thomas, or Rush Limbaugh, or Ann Coulter...
and so on, and so on, and so on. :-)
what a mean bitch
The 2000 election.
Clarence Thomas possesses more integrity in his little finger than Dowd has in her entire body.
I worried at the time the Thomas interview aired on 60 Minutes that it would bring the left’s slime machine onto a new target. Unfortunately, they didn’t disappoint.
It's no surprise that Michael Douglass dumped her. For anyone... MoDo, you're hatred shows a deep ugliness. In your case, that ugliness goes all the way to the bone.
Mark
The difference between the two is that only Hill made such bald accusations against Thomas, but against the impeached former president, there was a phalanx of political operatives arrayed to fight the women - the many women. And there were stories of more from clinton's bodyguards in Arkansas.
But to hack white fiction writers, conservative blacks are uncle toms and inauthentic as blacks and deserving of ridicule. And white politician rapist impeached former presidents - if they support abortion then their sins should be ignored.
Michael Douglas doesn't know just how lucky he is.
leni
The left still considers Justice Thomas just an “uppity n*gger”.
Haven’t heard much from mo lately, I assumed she was sunk in alcoholic depression and unable to write. Maybe the NYT is having her columns ghost-written.
I’d like to thank the two of you for your prompt compliance with Standard FR Posting Protocols.

Ditto!!!
I don't think I have ever seen such a perfectly, without-a-doubt winnable libel case.
Justice Thomas should sue the bitch for that ...custom-made motor home .... and everything else she owns. She deserves it.
Just waiting for the chance. It’s been awhile! :^)
Wow, this racist personal attack even as the lamestream media try to pillory Rush & O’Reilly ....
But she has to be only Exhibit C because room has to be left for Frank Rich and at least one other paid, professional liars who grace the pages of the Times.

Heads up -- my announcement of running for Congress in 2008 will appear here, Monday afternoon.
I miss when you had to subscribe to see these rants.
No one was willing to do so, so they ranted to themselves. The rest of us had peace.

I disagree - a waterfall is a pretty sight to see. I would say something like:

Yes a bitter used up Bad Boy Loving FemNag. Who whines about Men going after younger Women. She whored her younger years around with Celebs. And to late figures out that the Feminists were wrong. She should have settled down with a decent Man when she was young. Bitter, alone, does she have Cats? Dumped by Michael Douglas for Catherine Zeta Jones. Who would blame him? Old and Bitter and spiteful or younger and fertile and pleasant?
MoDowd is a bitter Spinster.
All the things that she projects onto Clarence Thomas are the motives that drove Anita Hill to claw at the character of a fine man.
She doesn’t accept the fact that Men and Women are different. She’s a brainwashed inner-child of a bitch.
Indeed, what a hack job.
They have several hack jobs with the exact same key words. I wonder if they hand out ‘key phrases’ over there and ask for articles from all their dirt dishers.
I saw that line and that pic is about 2 pixels above it! LOL
She’s talking about her and the rest of the delusional Democrats who can’t get over Clarence Thomas of the Florida vate that Al Core failed at steeling. Media Whore!
Make that vote and stealing.
There’s a foul ‘pen’ blowing

Flatulence generally refers to gases generated in the intestines or stomach and expulsed through that end of the posterior that graces a saddle. Unless you are Maureen Dowd ... then said gases are expulsed through the pen (or mouth you choose) and are no less a poisonous, asphyxiating irritant to the atmosphere.
Dowd’s June 25, 2003, column, “Could Thomas Be Right?” is one of the most morally opprobrious journalistic attacks against a public figure I have yet to read. But having said that, I admit it certainly isn’t out of character for Maureen Dowd.
In a day when black children can recite the rap lyrics from dozens of so-called musicians, but can barely recite the alphabet, have minimal math and science skills, Dowd castigates Justice Clarence Thomas as being “an angry, bitter, self-pitying victim.”
I am weary of the institutionalized racism, the pitting of blacks against blacks and the academic arrogance of the Sandra Day O’Connors, Maureen Dowds, et al.
The black community doesn’t need affirmative action it, in large part, needs a jolt to the system. Black youth must be reminded of the adage those of my generation heard from infancy: “You have to work harder than the next man to get ahead.” Today, I realize “the next man” my grandmother was referring to were racist liberals, who would block our path to self sufficiency.
Mychal Massie is chairman of the National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives-Project 21 a conservative black think tank located in Washington, D.C.
What can we expect from a female who hates men.
She in particular hates black men who have the audacity to act like real (=conservative) men.
Today, I realize the next man my grandmother was referring to were racist liberals, who would block our path to self sufficiency
Now the column makes sense! It’s called ‘projection’.

Maureen Dowd isn’t the only liberal elite with a hated of Judge Thomas...
Clarence Thomas Confirms CNN’s Toobin Never Spoke to Him; Toobin Calls Thomas ‘Nut’
By Tim Graham | October 4, 2007 - 13:05 ET
During his Monday smackdown on the Laura Ingraham radio show, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin declined to say yes or no when Laura asked him if he had ever met or interviewed Justice Clarence Thomas before he claimed the Justice was “furious all the time.” Toobin suggested Laura should ask Thomas. In a soundbite Ingraham aired at the top of the 10 am hour on Thursday, after his hour-long interview was done, Thomas confirmed that he granted no interview to Toobin. Thomas said he “would have no clue” who Toobin was if he saw him on the street.
Deep into his Monday interview on NPRs Diane Rehm show, Toobin explained the difference between Justice Thomas and Justice Antonin Scalia. Thomas was “a nut.” He added at shows end that Thomass legal views were “highly unusual and extreme.” He also predicted that if elected president, Hillary Clinton would nominate Barack Obama to the Supreme Court, a “political masterstroke” for Hillary since Obama would be an “unassailable nominee.”
When a caller from Texas asked if Thomas was competent enough to be on the Court, both Toobin and NPRs other guest, Jeffrey Rosen of The New Republic, agreed he was competent but Thomas was a nut:
TOOBIN: I think hes perfectly competent. I dont think that is the issue. I think what matters about these justices is what their ideologies are, and he is the most conservative justice to serve on the court, I think, since the 1930s, but is he capable
REHM, sounding stunned: More so than Scalia?
TOOBIN: Oh, much more than Scalia. I was at a synagogue where Justice Scalia was giving a speech not too long ago and someone asked him to compare your judicial philosophy and Justice Thomass, and he talked for a while, and he said, well, look, Im a textualist. Im an originalist, but Im not a nut. And I think that sums up a little bit the difference between the two. Justice Thomas believes that much of the New Deal is unconstitutional. Justice Scalia doesnt.
ROSEN: Diane, youre looking shocked!
REHM: Wow, yeah!
NO BIAS IN THE ‘NEWS’/s
I read the excerpt and just grimaced. THIS is how bad the New York Times has become?
Really. Forget about the radical left-wing politics and just read that excerpt. Then try to remember the reputation the NY Times once had, back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. The paper has become a generic Daily Collegian! My, how the mighty have fallen.
dowd is just another bitter lib/dem a-h licking woman puke!!!!
Please lock Maureen Dowd back up behind Timesselect.
If this screed is the best she can do sober, perhaps she should go back to drinking.
Dowd - another dinosaur journalist with a dinosaur philosophy trying to stay important.
It’s a boy!
