I thought cemetery plots in the UK were owned by the person who was buried in them, or the person who did the burying, for 99 years?
According to the article:
but by law, any graves more than 75 years old can be removed.

Perhaps parliment should pass a “Native British Burial Sites Act” that parrots the Native American Burial site act we have here. That way no one could ever touch those grave sites.
