And this is my point. The REMF stuff is fine (and smart to an extent) to contract out. But these are security. The military should be able to do that in house.

Blackwater is not a firm that does food or logistics. The are a private security firm, which means they operate in a different level. Call them mercenaries is un PC, but the are close to that at best.

Now, I have met a few (They have a training area north of here), and most of them are very good guys. My point is that when the US military starts contracting out armed security, we have a major problem. We are spread way to thin, and have been for to long.

Hell, the Blackwater group has done more to interest people in Special Forces, as well as make a better living standard for all the Military members...that is much needed...the fact is this is the free enterprise system at its best...Supply and Demand!!! You want the Best you need to pay and reward it...the american fighting man deserves every penny~!
