My ancestors traveled halfway across the globe to make a new life for themselves and their families, hacking at the wilderness to create farmsteads and a livelihood. Their integrity and work ethic, albeit watered down, lives with us to this day; it is the reason for our Nation's greatness.

This guy's heathen ancestors cut out the hearts of fellow (mostly non-combatant) humans and ate them while they were still beating. Apparently, that value lives on also, and may be a cultural factor for the utter and complete failure that is Mexico.

Actually, it does know ethnic boundaries, in that different demographic groups have differing levels of law abidingness. Some cultures respect law and order moreso than others; some cultures accept a different level of, say, graft and corruption in their society than others. Overall, the people of Mexico, by all measures, have a lower level of respect for the law than the people of the U.S.

To import people into this great country who have a lower level of law abidingness than the preexisting populace is cultural suicide.
