The Anti-Defamation League strongly condemns Ann Coulter for her anti-Semitic comment that Christians "want Jews to be perfected" in an interview with Donny Deutsch on CNBC's "The Big Idea." During her October 8 appearance, Coulter suggested that Jews should convert, adding that, "we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. … That's what Christianity is."
Ann Coulter may be a political pundit but she clearly knows very little about religious theology and interfaith issues...

exactly, we, as christians, are called to evangelize...and i have read many conversion stories of jews to christianity, and many call themselves, ‘completed jews’....

The ADL and the majority of Jews in the US and Europe have strayed from their core values and base and are now in the folds of the very ideology that almost eliminated them in Europe, National Socialism.
I read the original transpcript and the headline is wrong.
Ann is a perfected Jew, so how can they go after one of their own?

There was NOTHING “anti-Semitic” about Ann’s comments. She found Donny’s button and was amusing herself by pushing it.
It’s not like they can threaten to quit buying her Books.
Too bad they aren’t as outraged when a Schoolbus is bombed in Israel??

I don't "like" the idea of Christians just abandoning Christ as God and converting to Judaism or Islam. Seems to me once you believe in Christ's divinity, you don't just "switch". Sammy Davis, Ed McMahon, trends among African Americans come to mind.
But I don't think Christians get all bent out of shape if someone converts. Seems to me it is their choice.
Thus, “perfect love dispels of fear” means that love that is complete, that has completed its growth toward full faith, does not fear.
All she was saying was what is basic to Christian theology: the Jews were/are the apple of God’s eye, the chosen people, but they needed a savior, not for their secular nation but for the eternal soul of each. This is offered to all, pagans, gentiles, other religions, but it was started with the Jewish people, accepting Jesus as Savior is the completion “perfecting” of their faith.
Savage (Wiener) believes that only by accepting him as Lord can we mere earthlings be perfected.
He’s his own god. Everyone else is a mere myth.

instead of attacking coulter, the ADL should promote the idea that Jews should learn and practice the Torah so that they would be less likely to fall for other religions.
The irony is Ann Coulter has done as much as anyone to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive via her own words and columns.
I thnk the ADL ‘coffee filters as headgear’ crowd need to lighten up a bit.
I think her remarks were ill-chosen. However, they were in no way anti-Semitic. The ADL should go after real anti-Semites. Of course, they do have to fulfill there other obligation - as a branch of the Democratic party.

Yeah, he went off on her yesterday. Called her a "hag" and a "Rocky Horror Picture Show post op sex change case".
But I have to admit, I find her kill every middle eastern leader and convert everyone to Christianity bull tiresome. I used to be a fan, but not everyone is an evangelical Christian, Ann. This is America and people can worship whoever or whatever the hell they want to. You don't get to decide.
Isn't that the very thing that Coulter's against?
Kind of ironic but I guess everybody needs to believe in something; even if it’s a vile belief, destructive of human freedom, dignity, and ultimately life.

I know many Jews of the Conservative Political persuasion, this will not bode well with them. If you do not get the sensitivities amongst the Jewish population against conversion going all the way back to the Crusades, consider my following sentence. In a nut shell it is about letting live and let live, and yes they embrace their Christian and Catholic friends (all denominations for that matter). They just want the same. Spend sometime with them, and ask them about this, then you will get to see this sensitivity up close and personal.
Consider a voting block that is trending Conservative/Republican amongst the young Jewish voters, (something like 50 to 60%) she has not done us any favors with this voting block.
