Well, I keep getting the “Temporaily Unavailable” error again today. I’ve gotten it at sites other than FR, so I guess Algore needs to update his “invention”.

Sounds like F&F is going down the tubes as have the other networks. I thought ANS would be down memory lane, but apparently not.

Yeah, that would be a winner. Gore / Reagan unity ticket? Who is she kidding? Must be a real hippie liberal like we have in Austin.

BTW... this is the interview on FNS with John Boehner.

Boehner calls out the bill as a political pawn that was never meant to be passed and that the Dems are playing games.

Guy on FNS: But this is a painful vote, isn’t it?

Boehner: Well, when haven’t we been called mean?

FNS: But Welfare reform was popular!

What a weasel...

MTP is discussing the absence of fathers in today’s black families.

No one yet has talked about how this happened. Oh, here we go...it’s women’s liberation and the absence of a stigma on having children out of wedlock.

Will anyone mention welfare?

I didn’t last more than 5 minutes with the Friends this morning...do not care for that trio, at all. Especially the baby-voiced gal. They were discussing Wikipedia and how one cannot rely on it for the truth...baby-voice says—well, in OUR profession we cannot rely on that, we must rely on the AP for our news.

The Most Dangerous News Organization in America is about as trustworthy as Wikipedia, if not less so.

At least Wikipedia has the wisdom of the masses in play.

Never, I am afraid, as long as they can keep running the video of her writhing and jiggling.

It should probably be a fixture of the Sunday Talk Show thread that we include the Wikipedia backgrounds for some of the hosts of these shows
....Thank, for the post. :/

The cause of the problems in the black families is systemic racism.

I like Bill Cosby, but this is one of the worst segments I have ever seen. That’s too bad, because there is a message that needs to get out there.

It is not happening on this show.

Excellent! Thanks, anita.

Last paragraph:

Here's what's likely to happen: When the nominees are selected next year, the Republican will be behind--just as the GOP nominee trailed, at various times, in the 1980, 1988, 2000, and 2004 campaigns. Then the Republican will rally and probably win. Look to 1988 for a model: a tired, two-term presidency, a newly invigorated Democratic Congress causing all kinds of problems for the administration, an intelligent, allegedly centrist Democratic nominee, and a bruising Republican primary with lots of unhappiness about the field of candidates. This resulted in a 17-point early lead for Michael Dukakis over George H.W. Bush, but an eventual Republican victory. True, the current Republican incumbent, George W. Bush, isn't Ronald Reagan. And the 2008 Republican nominee is going to have to chart his own path to victory. It will be a challenge. But it's a healthy one. Let McCain, Giuliani, Thompson, and Romney have at it. The competition will be good for them and good for the party, ensuring that the winner will be up to the task both of winning the presidency and leading the country.

Nah, it’s just Connecticut. It’s a RAT hole. Connecticut, after all, is the NUTmeg state.

Remember what the looney left there did to Joe Liebermann. At least enough of what’s left of the Republican party there voted for him over the idiot the dems selected.

Your comment about a Sunday show actually allowing a Republican guest to have the rebuttal spot did not prove to be what happened. On FNS Brit interviewed Boehner, and ended by saying “and now the view from the other side of the isle” (major paraphrase)

The problem for the black community is not the breaking of the rules, but the rules themselves.

I am waiting for Bill Cosby to put together a coherent thought.

Thanks, Miss Didi. Sadly, everyone-else on Fox panel aren't sharp these days.

Here 's this sunday's Media Nuggets

###### Biased, Unethical, Agenda-driven Press! says Former Iraq Commander. But then, SHAMEFUL MEDIA distorts Truth, as usual.

###### Washington TrashPost's crocodile tears for a Convicted Criminal, because his treasonous behaviour on National Security matches Wash.TrashPost's.

###### Can Ailes Outfox CNBC? On Alan Greenspan's recent criticisms of President Bush: You can't sell a book in America if you don't dump on Bush. That's the cheapest shot in the world. You cannot get an advance, and you can't sell a book because the publishers are all people who hate Bush and hate Republicans.

###### Credibility assessments, Washington Post style! -> Moveon.org must regard Wash.Post as quite a bargain. Unlike with the NYTimes, it didn't have to pay Wash.Post a penny to have it imply that General Petraeus is betraying the trust of his country.

###### Fox BabyTV! News Corporation's Fox International Channels has taken a major stake in BabyTV for an undisclosed sum. Launched in Israel in 2003, the channel is dedicated to infants and toddlers under three. Commercial-free, BabyTV is carried on more than 75 platforms in 50-plus countries.

###### "Reporter"'s careless-ness leaves 1000s of Michigan 5th & 6th graders to retake the the MEAP test.

###### Time Magazine Karen Tumulty recycles democrat-press release as her article. Karen Tumulty previously termed Al Gore as "Shakepeare of Politics"

###### Changing Times? -> CAIR, FOX Co-Host Hollywood 101 Workshop!. Bill Clinton & Jackson on latest Fox-promo ad!

###### NYTimes, liberals angry @ CBS for doing a fair profile of Lynne Cheney and her new memoir, “Blue Skies, No Fences. (they were angry for doing a fair interview with Justice Thomas too).

###### Fox Considers Joe Buck -> for Late-Night Show. With Jay Leno not expected to retire & Conan O'Brien replace him on NBC's "Tonight Show," the late-night scene "promises to get interesting."

###### Morning Sickness - Audience erosion -> causes upheavals at a.m. shows.

###### Radio One to pull the plug on Syndication One which includes Al Sharpton.

###### Wash.post Milbank expose -> of Nancy Pelosi lunch. On antiwar democrat-base: "If they were poor and they were sleeping on my sidewalk, they would be arrested for loitering, but because they have 'Impeach Bush' across their chest, it's the First Amendment."

###### Wash.Post's owner to dump -> 22% of its stake in the Washington Post Co!

B u z z .........

*** Donna Brazile on Condoleezza Rice.

*** 2 awards on the same day, but One is Nobler than the Nobel.

Thanks for all the hard work Bah much appreciated.

Dittos to you AB for providing the thread week after week.

I'm gonna listen to some Sinatra, freep here a little and then back to work since I'm back on the road again tomorrow.

One funny thing lots of people seemed to have missed this week is that the bozo who announced that Algorr won the "novel" peace award(no spelling error there)pronounced Gore's name as Albert Algorr meaning that Rush has succeeded once again in renaming the dumbest VP ever as ALGorrrr.

Doesn't get much better than that.
