It sounds like Bush is none too happy!
It sounds like, first of all, that he didn’t like at all the Putin quote the reporter read to him in the press conference yesterday. And, further it sounds like perhaps Bush followed through on his statement about wanting to talk to Putin about it...

And perhaps most importantly it sounds like Bush is publicly starting to “realize” that Russia is NOT on our side re: the Iran issue (I think/hope he understood this sooner though).

I really hope the public starts to wake up and see these things though, and that the MSM will start reporting better on this issue (but, I’m not holding my breath). I honestly think Russia and Iran are looking at what they hear from our traitorous democrat congress and is thinking that the liberals in this country have hamstrung us and that we can’t go through with any real “offense”, or even “defense” perhaps...

Which is why I hope the SUPPORTERS of the Democrats begin to understand what’s at stake here. We need to appear strong, and not weak as they are making us look... This is the time for the “Big Stick” not the Rodney King response... These people are playing for keeps...

The U.S. has the miliatary assets necessary for such a task right across the borders from Iran. Israel does not.

Short of a first use nuclear strike against Iran, the task of "taking out" Iran is beyond Israel's military capabilities. The Israel of today is incapable of "taking out" Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

The only way that "Israel" will "take out" Iran is if the U.S. paints these

on our aircraft in theater, and, after the month-long air campaign to "take out" Iran, the U.S. says, "The Israelis did it. That's our story and we're stickin' to it!"

People, especially American people who are products of liberal public education, fail to recognize that, most of the time, the outcomes of wars cannot be predicted. And in fact, the true measure of victory is the apparent achieved closeness to reaching predefined goals rather than the amount of casualties suffered. Many Americans assume that no more than X amount of soldiers should be killed or injured, but that is not the true measurement of victory.

The reality is that that part of the world is a mess and has been a mess for a long time, and sorting out the mess will take an immeasurable amount of time and resources, but it is time to do something while something can be done.

A lot of the world's population will have been wiped out by then. If you read the book of Daniel, it explains that the world will be at war with each other. Throw that in with the fact that the world will be rife with plagues and judgements from God during the tribulation and you can see how no one would survive up until Armageddon except that God will spare a portion of the earth's population.

From the little I have read, Nostradamus did not even attempt to predict the distant future like his followers believe he was. He was commenting on currents events of his time and the outcomes of those of which had already happened by the time he wrote what he did.

It looks like some zealous people have replaced some of the original wording in his writings to make his look like some amazing prophet, but even then they don’t have their facts straight. Funnier still is the fact that he was pictured with a telescope in a supposed portrait of himself. The telescope had still not been invented in 1566, the year he died.

The least I can say is, I wish we in fact used the Nuclear option this time. It would have saved American lives and dollars.
