Democrat Congressman Accuses Troops of "Blowing Up Innocent People"
Blogs for Bush ^ | October 18, 2007 | Matt Margolis

Posted on 10/18/2007 11:47:27 AM PDT by Kaslin

While on the House floor, Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), took the SCHIP debate to a new low. He said, “You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement.”

So not only is Stark accusing President Bush of waging a war for "amusement," but he's accusing American troops of "blowing up innocent people."

Pete Stark should apologize immediately to our troops, and President Bush. He should also apologize to all Americans for exploiting their children in a hateful attack on our troops.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that despite the Democrats false rhetoric and harsh attacks over SCHIP, Americans agree with Bush.

Leader Boehner Calls on Democratic Rep. Stark to Retract Statement, Apologize to American Troops and their Families
Thu Oct 18 2007 14:11:42 ET

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 18, 2007
CONTACTS: Brian Kennedy, Kevin Smith, Steve Forde Ð (202) 225-4000

WASHINGTON, D.C. Ð House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today issued the following statement regarding remarks made on the House floor by Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) during the debate on the State ChildrenÕs Health Insurance Program (SCHIP):

“Our troops in Iraq are fighting against al-Qaeda and other radical jihadists hellbent on killing the people we are sent here to represent. Congressman StarkÕs statement dishonors not only the Commander-in-Chief, but the thousands of courageous men and women of AmericaÕs armed forces who believe in their mission and are putting their lives on the line for our freedom and security. Congressman Stark should retract his statement and apologize to the House, our Commander-in-Chief, and the families of our soldiers and commanders fighting terror overseas.”

During debate on the SCHIP children’s health care legislation today, Rep. Stark stated: “You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President’s amusement.”

You know I’m getting pretty sick of these Dems accusing our men and women who are out there putting their a**** on the line of atrocities.

I think we need legislation that drops these a**hats right into the center of Sadr City if they make comments like this. Becasue I’ve had enough of it.

And that’s about as nicely as I could put this because this crap really pisses me off.

Here is some info about this jerk from Wikipedia:

Stark has occasionally faced criticism for his remarks about opponents. In 1990 Stark drew controversy for calling United States Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Louis Wade Sullivan, an African American, “a disgrace to his race”. He later apologized for the remark.[8]

According to a San Francisco Chronicle editorial published July 23, 2003, Stark has also called fellow Congressman Scott McInnis a “little wimp” and a “little fruitcake” and challenged him to a fight during a Ways and Means Committee meeting. The editorial goes on to say that this “was reminiscent of the 2001 debate when Stark made a reference to the children of Rep. J.C. Watts all being ‘born out of wedlock’”.[citation needed]

Stark has also accused former Rep. Nancy Johnson, R-Conn., of being a “whore for the insurance industry” and suggested that her knowledge of health care came solely from “pillow talk” with her husband, who is a physician. In addition, Stark attacked former conservative California state welfare director Eloise Anderson in 1999 as a baby-killer, complaining at a public forum that she would “kill children if she had her way” because she opposed particular policy proposals.[citation needed]

Pete Stark is one of the most, if not THE most depraved, left wing sock-cuckers in the Congress. The only possible alternate explanation for his obscene comments and behavior is the possibility of syphilis finally sending him into dementia.

With apologies to all those innocent syphilis germs out there who might not be so prone to provoke such hateful rhetoric.

The DUmbos are in a meltdown over the success of our military and the defeat or near-defeat of al Qaeda in Iraq.

The DUmbos also know that if President Bush takes out Iran through an air campaign and quiets down the ME, they can lose big in ‘08. Hence, the rhetoric of “blowing our kids’ heads and killing innocent people” and the attempt to screw up Turkey’s access/military supply lines and you got a complete plan for traitors’ Iran shield.

Expect more of the same Democrap in the coming weeks.

The general political formula in the US:

US wins = DUmbos lose, Period.

Susan Estrich was on Hannity and Colmes last night. What she said made sense. She commented on the low level to which U.S. political discussions have sunk, spawning paranoia and mendacity on all sides of the political divide.

She is right.

I agreed with everything she said last night. I think she was honestly struggling for truth.

That there is a slice of America that sends a psychologically deranged whacko to high political office is a very bad sign.

An elected Congressman spouting this line of garbage is proof our nation has a serious political/moral rot.

Human decency and Pete Stark are total strangers. And they always have been, for as far back as I can recall.

Comes of having no moral compass in his life. Gaia has proved to be a pretty vague form of religion. No concept of right or wrong, therefore, no basis for the simplest forms of common courtesy or respect for anybody’s opinion in ANYTHING.
