Al Gore Got a D in Natural Sciences at Harvard
Newsbusters ^ | 10/17/07 | Noel Sheppard |

Posted on 10/18/2007 2:14:03 PM PDT by Kid Shelleen

Want to know why Nobel Laureate Al Gore likely doesn't want to debate any of the myriad of scientists and politicians that have challenged him to such a tête-à-tête regarding his manmade global warming theories?

Could it possibly be because Gore was a terrible science student, and clearly never excelled at anything relating to what folks in Norway and in the media consider him to be so expert at?

Which is why they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize and not the Nobel Prize for Science.

Hmmm... I got a D- in fundamental math in college — but then again, I don’t pretend to be a NASA scientist...

The article goes on to point out his prep school physics and chemistry scores were the equivalent of a low D and low C.

How did this Bozo get into Harvard? Oh yeah, DADDY.

“Al Gore got a ‘D’ in natural sciences at Harvard.”

The only surprises here are 1) that Al Gore went to Harvard and 2) that he didn’t get an ‘F’ for his shabby thinking.

For his work in alerting the world to something he clearly doesn’t understand. Hmmmmm, you don’t see any irony?

I went to Catholic school... did awful in all classes except, for some reason, religion. I was a very, very bad girl during my youth. Did all the bad things you can imagine, but came from great and excellent parents. It’s a small miracle that I turned up as “normal” as I am today. Everyone’s got disfunctionalities — whoever says that they don’t have some sort of disfunction, or that their families don’t have some sort of disfunction, are living on another planet.

Judging from his current level of understanding of natural sciences, that must have been a “charity D”.

Gore seems to have lucked out getting into Harvard with a C plus average. At my high school, which was highly ranked, you needed 1400 SAT’s and be in the top 5-10% of the class to even be considered.

One more surprise:
The political champion of the natural world received that sophomore D in Natural Sciences 6 (Man's Place in Nature) and then got a C-plus in Natural Sciences 118 his senior year.

Senior year?

"How do you flunk God?"

I took a few courses back when I was young. I never thought to refer to them as "divinity courses" but that is what they were.

I wanted to gain more insights into the Bible and history.

Instead I was barraged with a series of assignments that were designed (I believe) to discourage young persons from any sort of desire to defend their traditional beliefs.

I believe that I did learn a lot from those Courses, but there was a lot of research and papers required. They were difficult, and they pissed me off at the purveyors of the so called "higher criticisms."

Are we surprised that he avoided logic.

It doesn’t surprise me that he got into Harvard.

And the scary thing is he’s an “environmental engineer”

Negative. It's awarded by the Norwegians in Oslo, Norway, a totally Norwegian product, by design, and only Alfred Nobel really knows why.

It's thought that he wanted it to be free of political manipulation. So much for that idea.

A D, huh??

Well, he’s flunked Climatology 101, based on his film, but he is excelling at BS 102 as evidenced by all the media attention he is generating.

What the media fails to mention, however, that the people who buy Al’s BS scored lower than he did in Natural History.

That’s why they think he’s a genius!!

(P.T. Barnum is both overjoyed and frustrated. On the one-hand, he appreciates Al proving him right . . . . AGAIN!! But, on the other hand, he wishes he had been the one to dream up Al’s cockamamy global warming/carbon credits scheme!!!)

The grades were of slight interest during the Pres campaigns of 2000. While Algore’s level in science is about seventh grade, he has exceptional skills in other areas such as rhetoric. Rhetoric has long been the top science. Besides that, it is commonly known that the aristocracy avoids learning any manual skills that might qualify them as a mechanic or gardener.

The “D” Gore got in his science course was actually the professor’s sly expression of his opinion of Al.

The “D” stood for “Dummy” but since his father was a Senator, the teacher cut him some slack (as in “slacker”).

Let’s just say that Gore married “up”. The rest of his career/life has been one big fraud.

Could you provide a URL for the above? Thanks.

Here is a URL that tells you otherwise. It "mentions a Norwegian Committee" among all Swedish institutions :

Sorry, but affirmative to your "negative", here is another URL that tells that the award ceremonies are in STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN and the speeches are in Oslo, Norway

So much for your idea. :-)
