Man Charged with Assaulting Children

Fairfax County police have charged a 23-year-old Centreville man with sexually assaulting four children at the Centreville Regional Library. He is Mynor Andres Gonzalez Estrada of 6338 Field Flower Trail in The Meadows community.

On Monday, Gotthardt said police have since learned that Estrada, a day laborer, is reportedly an illegal alien. In addition, the investigation is continuing and police say further charges are pending. Meanwhile, Estrada is being held without bond in the Adult Detention Center and has a Nov. 13 court date.

He also has legal troubles in Prince William County, which has placed a detainer on him in jail. That county is charging him with failure to appear Dec. 4 in its General District Court because he allegedly did not comply with the terms of the suspended sentence he received for an earlier shoplifting conviction.

Just one more incident, just 4 more children, but not our children, so we shake our heads and move on. When I consider the respective GOP candidates leading in the polls it certainly leads me to believe we just don't care about ending illegal immigration.

We can certainly wake up the apathetic when the Congress tries to push a shamnesty on us. But that's where it seems to end. When a battle ends, we chatter about how we won the battle for a while and move on. This is why we are losing the war. This is why we will lose the war.

The same goes for the WOT. When you consider Rudy has the most credibility on the WOT, among the candidates, one has to wonder if we really care or if we are truly so ignorant as to believe these media-invented, false perceptions. Sure you could describe some of them as "tough on terror" but that means nothing in a real world application. The truth is, whether or not you believe in their resolve or their fortitude or not, that still falls short of having even a basic understanding of war, insurgencies, military capabilities and strategies. I know, I know, they can get a good SecDef and all is solved I suppose. I think Iraq and the WOT tells a different story, but that's just my opinion.

This is merely an acting out of the sense of machismo Hispanic males are raised with. We must respect their culture and try to understand them. If only more Spanish were taught in the public schools, these children might have embraced this for the learning experience it represented. If this man is deported, just think how many American youths will be deprived of the such educational oppportunities.

I really wish we could get something done on these illegals I am really beginning to hate them ( I know that is aweful but it gets to a point where I am hearing so many bad things lately about this issue and it is only getting worse.) HOw many illegals here have committed crimes against AMericans????? I wish we could just deport them all. I would pay for a special tax on that!!!!!
