Breaking: Tanker Truck stolen at gunpoint in Baltimore, last seen heading North on I-95

(WJZ) BALTIMORE WJZ.COM has learned a fuel truck has been stolen from a gas station in South Baltimore.
Officials say that the truck operator was refilling the gas tubes at a gas station on 3100 block of Vera Street, when a black male, wearing a blue jump suit, got into the driver seat and took off.
Police say the driver tried to get back in the truck, but the suspect pointed a gun at the driver and told him to get out of the truck.
The truck is described as a 1997 Peterbilt with dark wood. On one side it says "Baltimore Tank Lines." There is also a silver trailer attached to the truck.
The truck's Maryland license plate is 436-F45 and the tanker has Maine license plate 126-8185.
There may be some front end damage to the truck, because the suspect struck a fence on his way out.
The truck was last seen heading toward Interstate 95.
The driver was not injured.

Whoa..
OK- I give up- WHAT is he thinking? That a peterbilt tanker will be easy to drive without the choppers finding it? Easy to hide?

Looks like the price of crude has driven someone over the edge. Probably got a big storage tank buried behind the barn. I guess that's possible but,IMO,it's easier to see this tanker being successfully used to hit Fort Meade than to drain the contents and sell it to who-knows-who.

a. You can't fill a car's tank directly from a tanker truck.
b. If you could, how would you measure how much you're putting into each car?
c. Even if you could accomplish a and b, you would most likely be caught quickly.
So, given a, b, and c, what the hell is the dude going to do with the gas?
