Well, my brother from Texas is here for a visit. He and his dog Jenny will be here through Tuesday.
OU won their game with iowa State 17-7. OSU's game with Kansas State went right down to the wire but OSU won 41-39.
The weather's been nice but it's about to come to an end. WE have some rain in the forecast and it's supposed to get cooler too.

Sweet Kathy, every Sunday morning you put a smile on my face with these children’s songs. You are a sweetheart.
Just a little note, back in 2004 when my husband passed away, you were one of the many FReepers who sent up prayers. I had that thread in my bookmarks and was looking at it a few days ago as I wasn’t too familiar with names then. So, I thank you again, dear!

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!
Amazing Grace
by John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see. . Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, . And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed! . Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home. . The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. . Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. . The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine. . When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.

I’m gonna make it per your recipe but add cayenne and use half/half for bore richness.
Beautiful here today. 77 and breezy.
I had to buy clove today for the recipe. Holy Moses! 7 and 9 bucks for a bottle! I found some whole mexican clove for 99 cents, I will grind my own thanks.
Prices are out of control. I saw an eight dollar chicken! it was like 2 lbs
.308 ammo is like $600 bucks a case
Yeeesh

WOW!
Spices sure are expensive!
That’ll be the day I pay 8 bucks for a chicken!
LOL
There is a natural food store up here, where you can buy your spices by the ounce..
All the jars have a little scoop in them like you get in a coffee can..so you can buy as little or as much as you want..that’s the way I buy spices up here.
You’ll want to chop dem onyums real fine, okay?
Don;t want chunks of onyums in a pate!
I add Cayenne and a little Allspice to my Cretons..
BAM!
LOL
It’s gonna be GREAT on sourdough toast!
