Does MTP really expect us to take them seriously with the news with this type of line up??
Good morning!
I have some work and travel to do this morning so I won’t be able to live post, but I’ll be watching. Some thoughts on this week:
- Welcome back Joe Biden!
- Between FNS and FTN, the MSM is peddling the three candidates that owe most of their campaign to the MSM’s own promotion in Romney, McCain and Huckabee.
- MTP going once again with a group of liberal elitists. And then there’s Stephen Colbert, the Pat Paulsen of our era (to be honest, I find him pretty funny, but his sarcasm toward conservative values somewhat irritates me).
- Ratings for 10/7 coming up...
I know - it’s a joke. Week after week after week after week.
Morning! Looks like the MSM has discovered that the GOP actually has presidential candidates. Also Laura Ingraham is on the ABC panel today!
Look-like Rush just evaporated the dems on this sunday.
MSM (& McCain) keep on spinning Katrina blunder on President Bush. Well, with Bobby Jindal's Impressive Win, People of Louisiana proved that they didn't buy that spin by decisively voting in REAL poll yesterday.
NBC MEET THE PRESS....3,448,000 ABC THIS WEEK.........2,455,000 CBS FACE THE NATION...2,268,000 FOX NEWS SUNDAY.......1,961,000These audience numbers indicate the total number of viewers who watched these respective shows on Sunday, October 7, 2007 and are derived from Nielsen ratings as published by Media Life and the TV Newser. FNS and MTP numbers include same-day replays on Fox News and MSNBC respectively.
Good morning AB and everyone. Congratulations to the winners last weekend.
I agree with anita, the Bobby Jindal win is great. Not much mentioned on TV. I guess a Republican winning isn’t what they wanted to hear.
I’m lurking today, as much as I can, and enjoying the input from everyone here.
New Alert on Fox News, Turkish government attacks Kurdish rebels in Iraq.
12 Turkish soldiers killed according to news reports.
I am quite please by Jindal’s win. Now whenever I hear my sister griping about Bush/Katrina, I can point out that if Louisianans were upset with Republicans, why did Jindal win by such a large margin!
Not only that. Remember last week in an election to replace Marty Meehan, a Republican came very close in a liberal state, which itself is a record. Not worth mentioning for MSM because, it belies their spin that Republican Party is in disaster mode.
This is also a preview of what would happen with a three-state country for Iraq, proposed by Biden and others. Unexpected consequences.
It was not only MSM & dems, but McCain also starting to blame the President for Katrina. Should be interesting if any other Republican candidate challenge him on that in today’s debate.
Yes ma’am, agreed.
They don’t care if we take them seriously. They are in denial that they are still relevant.

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
During their eight years in the White House, Bill and Hillary Clinton worked together more closely than the public ever knew. Their intertwined personal and professional lives had far-reaching consequencesfor politics, domestic policy, and international affairsand their marital troubles became a national soap opera. Based on unparalleled access to scores of Clinton insiderscabinet officers, top administration officials, close personal friendsand skilled analysis of a vast written record, including previously unavailable private papers, For Love of Politics is the first book to explain the dynamics of Bill and Hillarys relationship, showing that they are two halves of a unique whole and that it is impossible to understand one Clinton without factoring in the other.
)))))))
It goes on in the same fait accompli tone.
You WANT... Rush Limbaugh. You GET... Stephen Colbert.
Evaporated the Dims?
Anita....more important, where are the REPUBLICANS?
Didn’t our Senate, America’s very own House of Lords, do the WORST thing last week that our government could ever do? Didn’t they go after a private citizen in an attempt to cost him his job, his livelihood, his constitutionally guaranteed pursuit of happiness?
So where are the elected pubbies to condemn this action?
Their silence is deafening.
Tell me about today’s debate. I know not.
Bobby Jindal won?
I must slap myself for not knowing this.
Ever since day 1 of Katrina I’ve kept a diary of these past two years on my Blog and I intend to keep it up. Someday I want my granddaughter to read the TRUTH.
Jindal is big news!
In Florida, on Fox, by Fox. I wish they replace Wendel Goler & Chris Wallace with Sean Hannity & Jim Angle. This a Republican debate after all.
A fine Sunday to you and yours!
Yes, Jindal’s win is a direct repudiation of Blanco, the Democratic governor, not Bush, the Republican president. Why we never hear about next door Mississippi, which was equally, if not more so, devastated by hurricane Katrina, is as much due to the competency of her Republican governor, Haley Barbour, as to the total incompetency of the Democratic party running Louisiana. Note which state simply rolled up its sleeves and went to work, whereas the Democratic controlled state pitched and whined and tried to blame the Republican president for their stupidity and corruption.
Finally, the voters woke up to the truth.
.
How many times have the DBM used this type of event as a week-long story... and a sign of things to come... when the candidate was a Dem?
Oh for pete shakes ... where is the barf bag when one is needed
The Soap Opera characters have a better marriage then those two
And a disgusting one at that.
HILLARY! UNCENSORED, the No. 1 video on google videos, is coming to Harvard - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1913998/posts
They killed the dog and dumped the cat
Ummmm ... where is the outcry from PETA?
Talk about re-writing history to a whole new generation that is too young to really remember the 90’s

Look at the fire in his eyes as he explains how this just might cost the Repulicans the Congress! It's almost as good as Fitzmas!
LOL .. Carl just called Chris Wallace, Brit
This first part of MTP is all about HILLARY.
We are not surprised.
Kate O’Beirn points out that just being a woman might not do it for her, it didn’t for Christy Whitman, who didn’t win the women’s vote, and for every 90 year old (fictitious) woman who wants a woman in the White House, there is a 90 year old man who remembers Eleanor Rooseveldt and doesn’t.
FNC showed an email link for questions during the debate.
debate@foxnews.com if anyone has a question to offer.
Thanks for the thread as always well the guest list does not exactly excite one, think I may sort out a DVD or see what are on the other cable channels later this afternoon.
Hannity & Colmes will preview the debate live at 7pm ET and provide post-debate
analysis from when the debate ends until 11pm ET.
Interesting the AP writer also admitted where most of the blame lay as well.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071021/ap_po/louisiana_governor
“Blanco opted not to run for re-election after she was widely blamed for the state’s slow response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.”
Shame they were not that honest at the time.
McCain just said that he is proud of his position on Campaign Finance laws!
LOSER!!!
LOL... like he won the lottery!
There is some change in FNS replay. FNS now will air @ 2 PM eastern on FNC. Will air @ 6 PM as well, provided no OJ like breaking news stories.
Dang, Babbah! I am sorry I missed Kate making that crack oabout Eleanor Roosevelt! Thanks for reporting.
Well, we are 15 minutes into this love fest for Hillary on MTP.
They are now trying to convince us that Hillary and Bill really, really love each other.
The book writer is saying that Eleanor Rooseveldt was more independent of Franklin thatn Hillary is of Bill. She says Hillary is dependent on him. The ladies don’t like that.
The plagerizer says no, she really is independent. Don’t listen to that other lady.
NEWS FLASH: Our DFU hits the big time and the road with the long-awaited Hillary movie, now getting national traction!!!
WoooHoooo! Tie Hillary to the tracks of the train of truth...

McCain: The people no longer trust Washington. But I am less incompetent than the other wannabes, so vote for me.
Typo I think. Perhaps they mean two halves of a unique hole.
I mean the kind you dig, of course.
