EVICT CODE PINK - Part 2 Report

Only one call to the police and no false alarm to the fire department this week in our continuing FReep to evict Code Pink's corporate lobbying HQ in a residential neighborhood.

The one police call was from a neighbor. The problem arose while Kristinn was taking to Pinko Midge (BELOW). The gates to both residences were right adjacent to each other. While talking Kristinn had unknowingly drifted over by a step and was in front of the neighbor's gate. When the neighbor returned from walking her dog and had to ask Kristinn to move. Kristinn immediately did and continued talking to Midge.

We accomplished all of our objectives this week.

The first was to make all the neighbors aware of Code Pink's violations. We talked to several neighbors and handed out our flyers. The flyers have Judicial Watch's original letter to the D.C. Zoning Administrator and numerous pictures and articles directly from Code Pink's web site indicating that the house is a communal reidence, not a single family residence.

Another objective is to get into the news. Kristinn posted the Examier's Page Six article titled Freepers Picket Code Pink 'Transients'.

And we had Code Pink sitting outside (BELOW LEFT) watching us instead of enjoying their pot luck dinner. The funniest thing I saw was when one of the familiar Pinkos came into the gate, they had her go back onto the side walk and come back in so they can take a video of her being welcomed to the pot luck dinner. And some transient (BELOW RIGHT) said that he had just flown in and came to the Pinko's flop house. Here he is pulling his 4 foot high rolling suitcase.

Those FReepers and Lurkers in attendance were: BMWcyle and Apple Blossom and family, BillF, Jimmy Valentines Brother, Kristinn, TJ (GoE), TrueBlackMan and myself.

What is the feeling among the neighbors?? Are they fed up enough with the protests to do something about it themselves, or will it take more time??

In my experience, the only thing City Council Critters react to is direct pressure directly from a constituent.

More than a few neighbors were upset about CP even before we got there. We are just doing what they were thinking but for some reason didn’t. Probably because they felt their opposition would fall on deaf ears in the D.C. government.

The neighbors have received our flyer so they now have some ammunition to take their complaints beyond just mumbling to themselves.

And CP has been really nice to neighbors when we are out there, saying Hi and just being nice.

Nice to see those Code Pink-o's helping you out in your demonstration of their zoning violation by plastering signs all over their fence and having a transient with suitcase pose for pictures!

Can they make it any more obvious?

Typical liberal: break the law and see how long it takes for someone to force them to comply. They wouldn't obey the law voluntarily!

Code Pink: No reason, just being crafty. We're very crafty, you know.

Neighbor: Well, ok, Yikes! There's a big cockroach in there! (Shakes it out and goes to stomp it.)

Code Pink: No, wait! He's our friend!

Neighbor backs away slowly...runs into his house: Uh, bye now!

Apparently, the neighbor called the police this time, but that that followed a discussion between the neighbor and a Pinko. It's quite likely that the Pinko asked the neighbor to call. As with the earlier FReep of the Pinko flop house, we weren't doing anything remotely wrong.

Two bicycle officers responded to the call. One talked to the Pinkos and then talked to us. He told us that it would be helpful if we could minimize our impact on Pinko neighbors, for example by not taking photos of the elderly Pinko neighbor. We said that we would try not to inconvenience the neighbors of the Pinkos.

While we were there, some guy walked up to the Pinko house/office with a rolling suitcase and other luggage, thus tending to reinforce our position that the house was being improperly used to house travelers or transients.

Would you believe that the eunuch at the stair top came out to complain that the Pink tofu tasted like #$@%& ? OK, I didn't hear him, but I can imagine what a Pinko potluck is like.

Another Pinko takes photos of us as we take photos of them. Holds cigarette in her left hand, obvious to knowledge of the money given to the GOP by the tobacco companies. I think that tobacco gives more money than Halliburton.

I noticed the pinkos had a sign that stated "health care not warfare". They hate tax cuts because they say they are only for the rich, yet they want to extend schip to include the rich.
