“Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe, who had no apparent qualms about President Bill Clinton’s evasion of the draft, charged that Bush was “AWOL” during Vietnam.”
I used to point this out to the libs over on the Yahoo boards (R.I.P.)
As usual, they had no response.
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi rebuked Stark for his “inappropriate” comments.”
Of course, she didn’t do it until AFTER the media jumped on Starks insane remarks. She THANKED him immediately after they were made.
And, ahem, SF Comical (who runs the SF Gate website) — Ann Coulter is a writer - Pete Stark is in a position of responsibility in government. They are NOT the same thing.
Now I say, I say, hold on there boy....you need to slow down. Nice boy but about as sharp as a bowling ball.
This article ought to start those San Francisco tongues wagging that weren’t already wagging.
Ann Coulter is a private citizen.....Stark is an elected official, it is not quite the same. Stark should apologize and step down.
LLS
That F-102 that President Bush flew in the National Guard was known as the Widow Maker. I would like to have seen any of those people who hate him fly one. Even that a-hole Tom Harkin.
Pelosi thought they were “inappropriate” because they hurt the Dems, not because they were inaccurate.
Better a chicken hawk than a Pelosi Turkey Vulture.
I miss Warner Brothers cartoons. Those were some of the best.
“I miss Warner Brothers cartoons. Those were some of the best.”
Definitely better than the crap that’s on now. I introduced my son to Speed Racer and Tom and Jerry recently...he LOVES them.
Why was it called the Widow Maker? It was very unstable in flight?
Chickenhawks Clinton and Obama would also be dis-qualified from talking about war.
Whenever I listen to Fred Barnes or Bill Kristol—”chickenhawks” is exactly what comes to mind.
LOL this is a keeper... I can't wait for them to retire to some gated community.
you got that right. You had to be on it all the time. If not you would be in the dirt. It was one of the first delta wing fighters.
