I have never been involved in electoral politics at any level except the laziest (voting and bitching.) I wish we had some candidates we could actually respect and admire, rather than always crossing our fingers, closing our eyes, holding our noses, and voting for the one we “despise least.”

One advantage Christians may have over other interest groups is a willingness to sacrifice for the common good. We can give more because we can give period. This can translate, if the meme gets out, into more giving from Christians in politics.

Primaries. Getting behind a good candidate early is the only way to get a good final result. Even if he loses the primary maybe he or she can run again for another office with better results.

God told a despairing Habbakuk that he was raising up the Chaldeans as a scourge against Israel which had become apostate! I have no doubt God could do this type of thing again!

From what source does this representation take such a form?

It's merely a nice picture of an angel, nothing more than that, nor does it need to be in this context.

It's not intended to refer to a specific passage in Scripture of the Bible, and for most people that's not a worry.
