God Bless the Chief and his family.
Rest In Peace.
A true American hero.
Prayers for you and your family in this time of grief. Your uncle sounds like one great guy, and now he’s in one great place.
Rest in Peace Walter.
I’m sorry for your loss. God bless you.
May he rest in peace.
May God bless you and your family. Rest in peace, brave Chief.
I consider it no sacrifice to die for my country. In my mind, we came here to thank God that men like these have lived rather than to regret that they have died.

One Day every tear will be wiped away.
Rest in Peace.

(man I wish I could see the cemetary from here)
Rest well, Walter Lee Keesceker... soldier and patriot. God bless him!
RIP and God’s Speed Chief.
I noticed that your Uncle also had to battle leukemia, they should have medals for that. God Bless you, your Uncle and the other members of the family , who supported his time in the service to our Country.
God bless and comfort each of you. Deepest thanks and appreciation for the service of this patriot.
Ohh you have me in tears with that song! Thank you so much!
Thank you all so much for your support, thoughts, and prayers. Can’t tell you how much it means coming from strangers online :)
I love it, too, and can’t preview it without crying.
God rest his soul!
However, the obit does not pay proper respect to your loved one.
“retired as CWO4, the highest enlisted rank given by the United State Army”
Chief Warrant Officer Four is not an enlisted rank. He was an officer. And in 1987 when he retired, CWO4 was the highest rank of the Warrant Officer Corps.
Rest in peace Walter Lee Keesceker. Thank you for your service.
Ah, thanks for the infomation! I don’t know who wrote it nor am I familiar with the CWO ranks. Guess I have to wiki it :)
I’m grateful for his life and his service to our country. May God comfort your family.
Please post your replies for this soldier and his family.
Please know that I am praying for this soldier and his family. May God provide healing in this situation.
[Salvation for] trussell

Respect and regards to all those he loved.
I join in prayer for you and all the loved ones! Thank God for this hero!
Prayers for your loss, may he rest in peace.
Tears here. I’ll be saying prayers for him this morning at Mass. He was one amazing American...cut from the same mold as the Lexington Minutemen on the town green and the Concord Minutemen on the North Bridge. That’s what being an American is all about. Godspeed.
God rest your uncle. He was an outstanding American and man. You have my sympathies. May his memory bring you comfort.
