We all know that Islamofascism Awareness Week is here and witness time and time again from the left and Islamists that this is some racist event by neocons, Zionists, crusaders, etc. This line of reason usually quickly degenerates into anti-Semitic rants and calls for censorship from the same enlightened and tolerant leftists and Islamic appeasers/supporters.
Take the responses in the following article.
To counteract the movement, MSA is hosting a "Peace not Prejudice" seminar series during the next two weeks that will feature several professors of Middle Eastern studies and Muslim civil rights advocates."Labeling an entire religion as fascist is offensive, inaccurate and inappropriate since it conveys a faulty image of more than a thousand Muslims at Penn State, and a billion Muslims around the world," the MSA statement reads.
Odd . Take the same words and apply them to Islam and the lefts attacks on Christianity and Judaism. I do not see the left standing up to defend Christian and Jewish faiths and I suspect I never will. I also notice the paper did not give any statements from the conservative side. Standard fair for college news. Actually researching who the MSA is (see below) is enough to rebuke their statements.
However, there is a deeper aspect to this. Who is conveying a faulty image of more than a thousand Muslims at Penn State, and a billion Muslims around the world? Actions scream louder than taqqiyah (Arabic for deception against infidels sanctioned in the Koran) ever could. I know many Islamic people from my time in Iraq. The majority of the ones I know would be classified as moderate by Western standards. However, to a large minority, if not majority of other Muslims, they are Apostates (heretics) are more than a few have been killed by radical Muslims who tell the world again and again that the radicals are the only true believers of Islam.
So, do I believe a student at Penn State or the words and actions of Islamic leaders and Muslims, both Shia and Sunni, from around the world? In the age of easy research and lazy journalism, why are more people not simply researching WHAT Islam is doing throughout the world and WHAT the clear and shouted goals of Islam are.
How many even know what comprises Islam? Islam, as I have said before, is far more than just the impossibly self-contradictory Koran. There is also the Sunnah (the "Way" of the Prophet Muhammad), the Sira ("life" of the Prophet), Haddith ("reports" about Muhammad's life as relayed by Imams). Out of this comes Sharia law and the rules of Islamic governance. It is within all of these that Islam's true nature takes form. It is here that we learn Peace means full submission/surrender. So when Bin Laden and Irans mad mullahs call for the West to make peace with Islam, understand that they, and EVERY Islamic leader before them mean the West must surrender. This has not changed since Islams first military expansion into Africa, Asia, and Europe in 622AD. Islam is unchanging. It is frozen in Muhammads time. This is by their own laws and interpretations by "mujtahdin"(Islamic Scholars: No new ones recognized since 855 AD). It has 1400 years of Islamic Jurisprudence to back that up. The only "hijackers" of Islam are the moderates who just want to live in peace and watch Western TV.
I can easily cite what these mujtahdin wrote and, to a rational person who understands the above paragraph, researches contemporary actions of Islam, and discovers who the MSA really IS, this should be enough. However,

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006
Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews
A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.
The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,

What the heck is MSA???
I’m guessing Muslim Student Association.
The proper term is "Islam."
Nobody is saying it's the whole religion. Can the left ever respond without lying?
Which muslims are not islamists?
It’s time for our troops to come home and rid this country of Islamofascists and Leftists first before trying to do the same overseas.
Ok, full disclosure.

Thanks for posting this. I spent a lot of effort on getting the links together.
Also, research on the MSA is linked in the full document.
Jacki,
See post 13. The link for the research on the MSA is within the article.
They are not a very nice group to say the least.
