In praise of Bella
World Net Daily ^ | 10/25/07 | Joseph Farah

Who was the first person to tell you about "The Passion of Christ"?

Admit it – it was me. Long before the controversy, long before the hype, I told you it was coming and would change the face of Hollywood forever – not to mention impact the lives of millions.

Was I right then? Yes, I was. And today I want to tell you about another independent film that is opening tomorrow and is, in its own way, as miraculous and compelling, as powerful and redemptive.

This time, it's not the work of a wealthy superstar like Mel Gibson who bypassed the usual creative controls of the U.S. movie industry. This time, the story is even more unlikely, the odds against it even greater.

The name of the movie is "Bella" – and it is beautiful.

I first told you about it just about a year ago. But, back then, there was nothing you could do to enjoy it as I have several times in the last year. That all changes tomorrow.

Okay, I know that some will discount this as Joseph Farah and WND. And yes, the two opening sentences are bombastic and arrogant. But he was right about the Passion of the Christ and he is right about Bella.

Also see these youtube links. This movie is a must see!

It appears that WND servers are down right now. Also, I need to revise the following link:

I’ll concede that this is a good illustration of Mr. Farah’s propensity for exaggeration. However, perhaps it is in process - but just in God’s time not ours.

You did say that though his opening sentences were bombastic, they were indeed correct.

So, just wondering, what evidence is there that they are correct?

Well ... how about that it would "impact the lives of millions", be "miraculous", "compelling", "powerful" and "redemptive," to name but a few examples.

IMHO, evidence of that is here and it is also my opinion that Ann Coulter would agree with this evidence too.

The thread is about Bella not Joseph Farah.
