I would rather he run for Senate. I think he could easily take down one of the village idiots in the Senate

...and they’ll just keep on recounting until she wins.

Fraudoire has a year to grease the skids and gear up the fraud machine. There is no democracy in SayWA as the Founders envisioned. A Republican candidate has to win a super-majority to overcome vote fraud in King Co. alone. My guess is that Fraudoire cheats to another term and Sam Reed volunteers to serve as Commissar on another vote reform “commission”, while Fraudoire goes off on another “healing (heeling) tour”.

There is no democracy in SayWA as the Founders envisioned.

Except for Wilson and Pinckney, no one at the Constitutional Convention of 1787 wanted a democracy. They wanted a representative republic. Until the 1820's the word "democrat" was an epithet, and its use could cause you to be challanged to a duel.

Well, as much as some of us in WA appreciate the optimism expressed by certain members....

Look, we know the challenges. We live here. There are no fantasies about the roadblocks the libs in this state will put up.

We also know Dino WON the election with Kerry on the ticket. Hillary being on the ticket can only help us. As will the fact that the majority of the state knows that election wasn’t decided fairly. Yes, that includes Democrats.

If you want to help, thank you. If you have nothing but pessimism to offer, thank you but no thank you. The Liberals in this state supply enough of that, I assure you.

Republican Dino Rossi, who lost the country’s closest race for governor in 2004, said Thursday he’ll seek a rematch with Democratic Gov. Chris Gregoire next year.

_______________________________________

He didn’t lose the election. Fraudoire and her creeps scammed it. We haven’t forgotten CHRISTINE!!!

Well, you know what I mean. Elected representative government. SayWA doesn’t have government elected by the people based on majority vote. Any non-’Rat has to win by a significant super-majority to attain office. I don’t think this was what the Founders envisioned, call it what you may. Super-majorities may be appropriate for certain legislative procedures in the context of the rules set by a legislative body, but are inappropriate for general elections.

I love that— state govt will be our servant again instead of our master.

I have high hopes for Rossi.

Exactly. I’ll volunteer to poll watch, I’ll volunteer & pretend to be a democrat, if needed. (I just need to figure out how to put my head up my butt to do that. Maybe if I learn some chants, or wear a button that tells people to keep their hand off my womb it’ll do the trick).

He could have, you’re right, but he didn’t want to do THAT to his family. Who would?

Besides, maybe he has further political aspirations and thinks the best way to get there is through a governorship.

True. And I apologize for nit-picking.

However, the Father of American Vote Fraud was a Founder of sorts. Aaron Burr founded the Society of St. Tammany in New York City, better known as Tammany Hall. And it was Fiorello LaGuardia who destroyed it.

Oh, I’m so jealous you got to be there. What a beautiful day for it— I almost made it, but the baby has been blowing snot bubbles all day so I decided to keep him out of the cold (sorry for the graphic).

I’m so happy to have a candidate I can get excited to get behind.

I have hope as well, but for him to win (and by God, I do want him to) he'll need to over come one thing, and one thing only....

King County.

If the corruption isn't addressed and eradicated (Chances of that, Slim and None, and Slim just left town), he won't be able to win.

Here's how to do it: Wear buttons that say "World Peace Now!" or "Bush Lied", and no one will question you. Even better, wear a rainbow t-shirt at the same time, they'll make you a supervisor.

(Okay, that last one may be a bit much...)

Not true. There is a sense that King County is a huge ATM machine for fraudulent votes, as New Orleans once was. That's not the case.

A "Scoop Jackson" Democrat once explained to me that King County has a well of 3000 to 4000 fraudulent votes it can call up to turn a close election. Elections that are not close can't be affected. That's the bottom line.

Okay, I got it. I need to get a shirt that says “question gender”. And absolutely NO MAKEUP that day. And no smiling, that always tips people off.

With his wife, Terry, at his side, Republican Dino Rossi announces at a Bellevue news conference that he won't appeal a ruling against him contesting the governor's race. (June 07, 2005)
