Millions upon millions of people know Terri was being killed. If it was that important to millions of people, we have a right to know which team the candidates are on? the George Soros death lobby or citizens against murder.
Since when did being against murder become a far right incident? Murder is the worst crime one can commit and that's not far right. It's a felony.
The locals are still talking about her. Nobody smiles when they recall what happened to Terri. It's like collective post traumatic stress.
Did you see the post about the Wellcare FBI raid in Tampa? It points back to Terri. It is about Medicare/Medicaid Fraud.
Why are you so troubled by Terri’s death? Because it was murder and you’d wish we would stop reminding people of that fact?
jeb the coward to infinity.
If you are a fundraiser you benefit from the Bush loyalty guarantee. Big donors and Judge Greer are real tight. They chose the big donors over Terri. A lot of good it did the GOP when donations dropped like a rock after Terri died.
The truth must come out from D.C. All the note comparing that locals still do points to D.C. We're tired of the status quo. We want the truth.
Nat Hentoff. I may email this to all the GOP camps.
NAT HENTOFF: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. If any of the judges on the appellate level had said, well, we have to look again at the case, look — have another hearing, that’s all that was really required here is another — the conflict of interest of judge Grier is a whole other story. If you ever saw Jack Nicholson’s movie Chinatown, he and Felos have been a part of a right to die movement in Florida for a long time.
NO VOTE FOR HIM.

Nice to hear from you floriduh. I wasn’t aware of his daughter’s death or his refusal to speak about Terri. Your points are all good. Millions knew that she was being killed, yes, but we were unable to get that message across when it really mattered to the millions who didn’t. It’s fabulous though, that she becomes a critical point of discussion in the race for the POTUS. It only proves that many did know and are being forced to face that fact again and again. I truly believe that the truth will be revealed in time. (Excuse, it’s 3:00 am and I don’t know if I’m making sense).
As a libertarian I feel somewhat safer the rhetoric has passed and that for the foreseeable future this issue will remain with the separate and sovereign states as intended. For as Mr. Madison himself said
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. Now you can post whatever you want about what you 'think' was the intent of the Framers but it's clear this issue was intended to remain with the States. If the current candidates do choose to meet with this guy, they'll shake his hand, ignore him, and go on about their candidacy.
What makes you so sure our founding fathers intended to grant all rights to The States, and no rights to The People?
The denial of the right to life deprives us of all other rights. It is the most basic of rights, and the right upon which all other rights are built.
There are exceptions to every rule and instances where we should abide by the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law.
The "spirit" of the constitution does not permit state enforced execution of innocent people, as Terri was.
The founders are turning in their grave at that very notion.
When a state or branch of government attempts to so so, it gives the Federal government and/or other branches of government the right to intervene. It's called the system of checks and balances, and is the reason both Jeb AND George Bush had the power to step in and prevent Terri's execution.
I’d like to see that too! : )
If people want to learn about Terri’s due process in the courts, I suggest they ready the following links and listen to following media files about the Schiavo case:

Even if some believe that evidence found in the 2000 trial was clear and convincing evidence that Terri would not have wanted the feeding tube, Judge Greer’s decision and weghing of the evidence was AT ODDS and CONTRADICTORY to numerous court decision made in similiar cases across the country.

This is a legal review from a law professor at Notre Dame. In it, he explains the veracity of Terri’s wishes from a legal prospective. His end conclusion is that the evidence used to condenmn Terri to death was hardly clear and convincing and was clearly against settled case law through out the many different states across the country.
TOO BAD TERRI LIVED IN FLORIDA!!

I would assume (rightly so) the man who is considered the Father of the Constitution would have a rather good idea of what was intended.
And for the record, could you provide exactly where the Constitution grants rights? It is merely a document intended to limit the federal government and only in very specific instances the powers of the separate and sovereign states. It grants no rights and never has.
It does recognize rights. You would do well to do the same. It does not take rights away from The People and grant them to The States, as you claim.
