You and the other liberaltarian-anarchists love to throw around the powers that were "reserved to the states," but you do not seem to understand that the Constitution was later AMENDED to address some of these issues.

Actually it wasn't. Progressives like yourself run to the 14th Amendment because you have no argument. Tell us, in comparison to the passage of the 14th Amendment at what date was the 5th Amendment applied to the separate and sovereign states? The 1st? The 8th? 7th? Take your time to look it up if you so choose. The point is that contrary to progressive revisionists, the 14th Amendment did not incorporate any of the Amendments (and even then selectively over time) until the 20th century.

Whatever. Anarchists like you love to pretend that the Fourteenth Amendment doesn’t exist, but it does.

Go make another homemade RINO Paul sign to litter the roads or something.

Are you suggesting the 14th Amendment doesn’t come into effect until the others expire? When are their expiration dates? Where do you get your interpretation?

Progressives were cheerleading Terri's death. To call us progressives is laughable. It's my opinion that we are all created equal and have inalienable rights unless our name was Terri Schiavo.

Yes, the Supreme Court at the time interpreted it very narrowly - in fact many people felt that the Supreme Court after the civil war was very activist in striking down reconstruction type legislation. However, if you look at the floor statements of the Amendments primary sponsors it is clear that the 14th Amendment was supposed to incorporate the most fundamental constitutional rights at the state level - though at the time the intent was primarily to due this through the Privileges and Immunities Clause rather than the Due Process Clause.
