My daughter was shocked a few weeks ago when she heard "Gangsta's Paradise" instrumental as elevator Muzak at work.

I surf-sleuthed and found that Coolio covered the tune but rewrote the words of "Pastime Paradise" by Stevie Wonder. My daughter wasn't going crazy after all.
