Thank you, Thank you...
Ha!
Nailed 'em again. ;o)
Exactly none.
Why do you feel the need to clarify your support of Mitt in that manner?
I will support Fred in the primaries, and of that I am sure.
Should Mitt become the nominee, I will hold my nose, but I will vote for him.
Rudy is an entirely different subject, though.
Actually, not all here casually surf. In fact, there have been some paid operatives who post here.
In any case, I don't think Calpernia is a paid operative. lol She is very knowledgeable, really knows how to research, and is a big Hunter supporter.
I support Fred, however if Hunter's numbers were better, I'd really be in a pickle! ;o)
Why do you feel the need to clarify your support of Mitt in that manner?
For exactly the same reason that the Republican Party, the National networks, the league of Women Voters and your local Rotary Club sponsor debate forums. To clarify how that candidate performs in a real world situation in front of partisans or skeptical minds as the candidate uses gifts of persuasion to advance a point of view.
This is the essence of leadership, and if your candidate is not persuasive, that candidate is a wasted vote.
There are other reasons as well, which you probably are better at thinking of than me, such as holding a candidate accountable for the things he says.
DixieChick is a Fred supporter. But DixieChick knew me before this election.
I have many, many research threads. Not just on candidates for this election. I did research for a living before children.
I’m not a paid campaigner.
Thank you Dixie.
OH...okay.
Now I see your line of thinking, and I totally agree that we all should see the candidates themselves, if at all possible.
Unfortunately, no one has come to Oregon that I know of, and I believe the local RNC would have let us know if there was an event such as a townhall meeting.
In any case, by the time we have our primary, we might already have our candidate.
What Calpernia wrote in her post is absolutely true.
I’ve known her for quite a while.
You’re very welcome, Calpernia.
“some Republicans have been wondering whether Jeri, a second wife who is 24 years younger than her husband, is too sexy for the women voters of Middle America”
No bias there....
Those dowdy old middle American Republican women will get jealous
I should get back into researching. I probably need to find someone that is writing a book or something that needs a researcher. :P I’ve got tons of data and no one to give it to.
