What furious Hillary really knew about Bills affairs
Last updated at 00:47am on 28th October 2007

Private life: New book could set back Hillary's presidential campaign with claims that she only stayed with Bill for her own political ends
Hillary Clinton's Presidential ambitions suffered a setback last night with the claim that she knew Bill Clinton was unfaithful long before his seduction of Monica Lewinsky. The only aspect of the sex scandal that is said to have surprised his wife was that his relationship with the White House intern lasted so long.
And she was furious that he used the Oval Office for his liaisons, according to a new book by Sally Bedell Smith, one of America's most respected biographers.
Ms Bedell Smith says in For Love Of Politics that Hillary's reaction on learning that Bill's sex sessions took place at their official residence was that her husband 'couldn't be that insane'.
The author also claims Hillary tolerated Bill's womanising and helped to cover it up because she believed her slick husband was essential to her own political ambitions.

Mrs Clinton could not be reached for comment.
But a friend said: 'This was always going to come out and Hillary knew that.'
There was speculation that the claims would help Barack Obama, her closest rival for the Democratic nomination.

But one of the fawning press that follows Hillary was able, prior to this, to get Hillary on the record about the veracity of her autobiography. Yeah - the one in which she professes to be shocked at the news from Bill that the Lewinsky affair was true - the night before the grand jury testimony. She lies like a rug.

I think Hillary knew she married a philanderer and stuck with him because he would help get her where she wanted to be one day. It really was a a two for one deal.

If Hillary had not married Bill, she would not be in contention for President today. She couldn't get in on her own merit. Her only qualification is she's married to an ex-POTUS.

Hilary knew about Bill’s infidelities before they were officially married. I believe it was in Barbara Olsen’ book about Hilary, that then girlfriend Hilary would search his desk daily for phone numbers he had collected from woman and then destroy them. She made a deal with the devil when she married him. She puts up with his bimbos and she gets to the White House.
To: redheadtoo
Yes, that's their real understanding. That you do get for 2 for 1. Hillary has wanted to be President since the 1960s and she realized at some point, marrying the right guy was the ticket to the White House. Whatever else you can say about her, that was the one decision she made that's helped her get all the way to where she is now.

One thing that true feminists should realize is that if Hillary does become the first female President that she will have done so by riding on the coattails of a man who should be the epitome of everything they are against.
The fact that she would not be where she is today w/o him (and vice versa) should be reason enough for them to be opposed to her as a candidate.

Old news. Bill told many of his conquests that he was sterile as the result of mumps as a child. Short of getting DNA from Hippo-Lip Hubbell and look-alike Hippo-Lip Chelsea, this old story ain't going anywhere.
Although your brilliant photoshopping has made Chelsea look, not only a lot like Hippo-Lip, but that cute little Neanderthal girl they are always showing.

They don't care that Hillary is in an unfaithful marriage any more than they care that she had to hitch behind a man to even be in sight of the White House. What they do care is she shares their vision and their agenda. The NOW NAGs forgave her and have endorsed her for President.

The only aspect of the sex scandal that is said to have surprised his wife was that his relationship with the White House intern lasted so long. I thought Hillary's real shock came when she found out Bill gave Monica the same book of poetry that he gave to Hillary in college:
"In March 1997, Lewinsky addressed a note to "Mr. P," thanking Clinton for giving her a bound edition of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass as a present: "Like Shakespeare, Whitman's writings are so timeless. I find solace in works from the past that remain profound and somehow always poignant. Whitman is so rich that one must read him like one tastes a fine wine or a good cigar -- take it in, roll it in your mouth, and savor it."

A more sensible woman would have dumped that man. Hillary made the calculation keeping the SOB around would be better for her than starting from scratch under her own name. Political expediency has benefited Hillary more than commitment to moral principle. As long as she gets something from it, she's willing to deal with shady characters ranging from her husband to a financier named Norman Hsu.

Not just any ex-POTUS. William Jefferson Clinton - the first black president - the first 'human' president - one of the good ol' boys - the one who 'felt yer pain' - the man who got away with stuff that many men wish they could get away with.
And the main reason liberals will vote for Hillary, is to have their 'man' back in the White House and Oval Office.

If she doesn't win, think she'll dump him? When and if the statute of limitations ever run out. They have to stay together, divorced they will hang each other, 'you know'. Although, is SOROS a single guy, Hillry might dump Bill for him 'you know' like a JFKerry move. (Shades of Jackie O.)

Ms Bedell Smith says in For Love Of Politics that Hillary's reaction on learning that Bill's sex sessions took place at their official residence was that her husband 'couldn't be that insane'.Let's see: this appears to be an effort to fiegn credulity in order to stimulate credulity in the masses.
For, if memory serves, the public new bill clinton was a skirt-chaser before his first election.
The public knew. And she expects us to believe that she didn't? I'm quite sure the oval office wasn't the only "insane" thing her husband has done.
Does this creature expect us to believe she didn't know about the State Police escort to the motel room?
And what could she tell us of things the American public hasn't been subjected to having to learn about the President Scumbucket?
Thank you but no thank you, senator sweep-it-under-the-rug.

Monica was the coverup.
It was probably even Hillary’s idea.
Treason was the reason, and still is.
To: Stoat
hillary clinton is not running for president because she loves America and wants to serve it.
Perhaps part of her motives are rooted in the nature of betrayed women to prove that they are better than their husbands.
How great for america that her ambition might be rooted in something more warped than ordinary power-lust; that it might just be rooted in the hell-hath-no-fury-as-a-woman-scorned wellspring of the netherworld. How great for her to exercise her personal demons at the expense of the free and the brave.
To: goldstategop
Yes, and when will the MSM start challenging all that “experience” that Hillary claims. Her “8 years in the White House” are similar, in experience, to the pastry chef, although he/she probably improved his/her skills.
Without the Bubba connection, Hillary Clinton would be an Assistant Professor of Womyn’s Studies at some third-rate Ivy League school.

Here is a link to a feminist group who seem to respect themselves, their ideals and their cause and are adamantly opposed to Hillary.

I've thought about the future of the Clinton marriage. I've always believed that it would be Bill who eventually does the dumping. I had thought it might happen shortly after he left the White House. But when Hilary became a senator I believed he stayed because she represented his chance to return to Washington. But even if Hilary does not become president, the marriage is of value to Bill. No matter how many bimbos he has, none of them can demand marriage because he is already married to Hilary.
