"The Sus and MiGs would be done pretty fast, but I wouldnt get too cocky when it comes to the An-2 Colt. Low and slow is the way to go for infiltration. An aircraft like this one could easily land and take off from a short section of road. If they have any night vision capability it could get down right ugly. Hopefully we never find out, but I wouldnt count on the NK spec ops guys coming out of these planes being incompetent cowards either." Agreed. It makes me wonder what we could do along similar lines if we put our minds to it. I'm thinking of a low cost light weight aircraft that could haul a light 12 man squad armed with a few SMGs and antipersonnel rockets. Light, quiet, stealthy and slow moving. The biplane design should be revisited using modern design techniques for propulsion and materials. You could probably come up with something that could be carried on a small trailer behind a hummer and assembled in the field as needed.

Why wouldn’t they just swing out over the ocean & come back inland at a point of their own choosing?
