Unimaginable in my day, but I guess not too surprising today given what gets taught in public schools.

***As for the boys, they said they campaigned hard in anticipation of the election. But their goal, they said, was not to make a political statement.***
No political statement? Bull

Must they make a mockery of every single tradition that ever was? All this pandering and teaching is nothing less than negligence of the mentally ill.

Spew.
“Principal Michael Cawley declined to comment on the boys’ election, saying only that he hoped to keep the issue “low-key.”
Translation: “I’m ashamed of this school.”

If only they knew, that for the vast majority of kids who voted for them, they are a joke and are being laughed at behind their backs.

I never quite though of homecoming elections as a ‘tradition’ but rather a high school popularity contest at best or a ‘demonstration’ election controlled by school administrators at worse.
And in a day and age when we have had gay governors, gay congressmen and gay senators, I imagine that the nation can survive a gay homecoming couple.

In the early to mid eighties we have a few effeminate boys coming to high school dressed as women. Transvestites. In high school.
In a rural, logging town.
It only took a couple ass-beatings out on the football field to put an end to that crap.

Must they make a mockery of every single tradition that ever was? Yes. The homosexual political agenda is obsessive and totalitarian, so they are compelled to destroy every tradition.

so much for the talk of legalizing same sex sodomy being about consenting ADULTS in PRIVATE.
Public displays of affection by minors sanctioned by the State schools.

How do they know the couple is gay? The Gay Homecoming couple could only be called gay if they have in fact had sex.
Thus, all Straight Homecoming Couples could only be called straight if they in fact have had sex.

back when I was in school we had the Japanese foreign exchange student win. We all know that was what was going to happen and that was that. It also allowed us not to have “____ist” tagged to us.

puro has it right. Political agenda “because they can” without regard for the social and moral foundations of this country. Aided and abetted by the ACLU and democrats. Meh.

Why should we have to? These people act like they invented homosexuality, when if fact, all they’ve done is make it acceptable to shove it in our faces every chance they get.
Homosexuals are sickening people. Why can’t they just shut the hell up?

Public displays of affection are mostly, NOT sodomy. Perhaps you can recall what sodomy is and we can all agree it should not be done in public.
