Investor Jim Rogers endorses RuPaul [having a lib co-worker=partnership with Soros /Paulite "logic"]
Financial Times ^ | October 29, 2007 | Jim Rogers

http://www.ft.com/cms/893ac9c8-757e-11dc-b7cb-0000779fd2ac.html

Watch the full video and listen to a man that did not get rich by being stupid.

I have no doubt that some will want to bring up his previous partnership with George Soros.

If that is the only justification anyone can provide that we should not listen to this man, then I must ask, why should anyone listen to you? What relevance would any of your opinions have? Surely many of you work with liberals in your everyday jobs too; does that make you a liberal? Does that mean that your ideas are bad for America? Use your heads here.

Wake up America! We've been sold out.

Caring about America and its economy and its people is silly?

Please finish watching the video before lobbing reactionary comments my way.

OK got it... being involved with George Soros doesn’t count for anything because well anyone could get involved with George Soros. Guess I’ll just have to not vote for Ron Paul because I just don’t think he’s up to the job but thanks for warning me about Soros. ;-)

Ok, I'll bite...

Because I am sane enough not to support the left's favorite Republican surrender monkey?

Because I am sane enough to not support anyone with ties to Moveon, KOS or the Dems?

Because I am actually a Conservative Republican?

Just a wild guess, but seeing most of the post about RP, I'd say I am closer to being correct than you are...

A former partner of George Soros.

(But we're forbidden to mention that, so this is just between you and me.)

Personally, I am waiting for Paul to tell me if this is constitutional or not.

I couldn’t care less about his connection with George Soros.

His endorsement of Ron Paul is enough reason, by itself, to refrain from listening to him.

Ha.

You claim certain comments related to this post are “reactionary.” Go read your own post and realize how ridiculous it is. I’ll paraphrase:

“If you don’t agree with this ONE GUY who says we should vote for Ron Paul, then your opinion is irrelevant and I don’t want to hear it.”

Nice.

I have no doubt that some will want to bring up his previous partnership with George Soros.

Are you saying that his 37 year long association with one of the world's leading anti-Americans is irrelevant?

Are you saying that his status as the bagman for MoveOn.org's number one benefactor is immaterial?

Jim Rogers would be nobody if it weren't for George Soros.

He was a mid-level employee at a third-tier broker until Soros selected him as a protege.

Since he left Soros' employ he has worked solely as a pundit and a guest lecturer, he is the only high-profile Soros associate to never set up his own fund or make a name for himself independently in the financial markets.

He isn't a market participant - he sits on the sidelines living off the capital Soros gave him.

It makes me wonder what he did for the convicted insider trader Soros that made Soros want to pay him so much.

‘Watch the full video and listen to a man that did not get rich by being stupid.

Ironic. After reading the first sentence, my thought was ‘Riiight, using that logic, I should listen to George Soro’s...’

Then I read your second line, about Rogers and Soro’s doing business in the past.

(chuckle)

Having brains in business has nothing what so ever to do with political ‘insight’.

In fact, its been my experience its the exact opposite.

Had to condense "Ron Paul" to "RuPaul" to get everything to fit. But I have been thinking, where have I heard this kind of logic before?

Surely many of you work with liberals in your everyday jobs too; does that make you a liberal? Does that mean that your ideas are bad for America? Use your heads here.

And then, it finally hit me:

But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

The only reason he wants to boost Paul is to divide the Republicans and elect Hillary. Paul was first an Independent and then a Republican. He could go back to Independent in a flash and run as one.

Don't be fooled.. Paul is no Conservative. Votes speak louder than rhetoric.

Ron Paul's 2006 American Conservative Union rating: 76% Lifetime Rating: 82.3%

Ron Paul's Voting Record (ya, ya, I know, there is an excuse for all of these, state's rights are more important than stopping abortion and fixing the border, Ronnie is making a statement, or everyone else was voting against it and he was just playing the game, yadda, yadda, yadda)

Here are some more ‘Conservative(sic)’ votes by Paul:

Voted NO on federal crime to harm fetus while committing other crimes.

Voted NO on forbidding human cloning for reproduction & medical research.

Voted NO on barring transporting minors to get an abortion.

Voted YES on funding for alternative sentencing instead of more prisons.

Voted NO on more prosecution and sentencing for juvenile crime.

Voted NO on military border patrols to battle drugs & terrorism.

Voted NO on allowing school prayer during the War on Terror.

Voted NO on allowing vouchers in DC schools.

Voted NO on passage of the Bush Administration national energy policy.

Voted NO on implementing Bush-Cheney national energy policy.

Voted YES on barring website promoting Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dump.

Voted NO on speeding up approval of forest thinning projects.

Voted NO on reforming the UN by restricting US funding.

Voted NO on requiring lobbyist disclosure of bundled donations.

Voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits about obesity against food providers.

Voted NO on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers

Voted NO on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse.

Voted NO on decreasing gun waiting period from 3 days to 1.

Voted NO on emergency $78B for war in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Voted NO on $266 billion Defense Appropriations bill.

Voted YES on more immigrant visas for skilled workers.

Voted YES on providing $70 million for Section 8 Housing vouchers.

Voted NO on promoting work and marriage among TANF recipients.

Voted NO on treating religious organizations equally for tax breaks.

Let's also not forget Paul's Pork Projects (that he voted for before he voted against when he calls them unconstitutional but he is just playing the game when he submits them because everyone else does it.. yadda yadda yadda..)

Paul also supported the NAU superhighway by funding the TransTexas Corridor

By your standare, the richer the better, I guess Mitt is the man. On the other hand, maybe I'll just ask Soros who he supports.

It is better to remain silent and have people wonder if you are an idiot rather than to open your mouth and prove to everyone in sight that you are an idiot beyond all doubt.

I and countless other Ron Paul supporters have already made the assumption that Hillary is going to win anyway. Furthermore, even IF one of the faux Republicans managed to beat her, nothing would change. YOU KNOW THIS DEEP DOWN. We would still see more wasteful, bloated bureaucracy, more entitlement programs, and more inefficient war fighting. Why should we use a whole army to get rid of a small group of thugs. We have the technology to fight this war much more efficiently. So it begs the question, “Why are we fighting an inefficient war?” As Rush Limbaugh might say, “Follow the money.”

So given the assumptions above, I decided that the only wasted vote in this election would be to vote for more of the same. I will no longer vote for the “lesser of two evils,” especially when a true conservative choice is being offered. I refuse to abandon my principles. I will vote for Ron Paul no matter what.

Impressive: combining a nasty backstabbing comment about our armed forces with lunatic conspiracy theory in one brief sentence.

When the socialist Hillary wins, everything WILL change. YOU KNOW THESE DEEP DOWN. Yet you’re still willing to engage in your onanistic fantasy of electing a “true conservative” that is anything but.

And the “other Ron Paul supporters” are “countless” because (1) they’re so few in numbers that they’re not statistically meaningful, and (2) because they’re so busy taking bong hits and going on munchie runs that they’re never in one place long enough to be counted.
