Nonsense. The conventional wisdom, loudly trumpeted by Democrats, is that Iraq is a disaster and we can’t win, so we have to leave as soon as possible. So there.
I recall President Bush saying that was the plan back in 2002.

Waziristan, North and South, the so-called 'Tribal-Areas', is possibly the most vermin-infested place on earth, even worse than the West Bank or Gaza. It may well be a last stand for A-Q in more ways than one.
The muzzies threw all they had into Iraq to defeat the continued USA presence there - most of their best and well-trained fighters plus most of their equipment from all over the world. They've all but lost Iraq completely, and Iran is about to be next, and they know it.
Saudi Arabia (wahabbis) is the largest financier of muzzie-terrorism in the world, and they're about to lose all their surrogate states that did their dirty work for them while they pretended to be 'friends' of the USA. The Saudi Royal Family may well flee their country when Iran is dispatched.
Al Qaeda is a shadow of its' former self, and whoever is left will be hunted like rabid dogs in Waziristan after Iran and Syria are ruined. The coming conflict will eliminate Hizbollah, too, and there will be no place left to run to except the bowels that are Waziristan.

This is actually the best part of this story as it means that the Iraqi’s on both a persoanl and political level are finally engaging in their own fight for freedom.

This administration has been very weak in communicating facts to our citizens, about this war. Bush is in charge, so I guess he is where the buck stops.
Since he is shall we say inconsistent as a communicator, he could (and should) delegate to others.

We’ll only know that Al Qaeda has been defeated when Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid show up to take credit for it.
