Cool. Running against Hillary already.
He’s running a pretty good campaign, too.
Did a lot better than Hillary this week. :-)

Yes, effective campaigning.
Although I did have one reservation. Did he really turn around the state of Massachusetts? Seems to me it’s more corrupt and delusional than ever.

Experience matters.....and so does your record. Try as he might, der Mittster can't run away from his big-government moderate, social liberal record.

There is just something that keeps bringing me back to Romney. Don’t know what it is or who I will support yet but I do like him as well as Hunter and Thompson. I think he is just wholesome and that seems so hokie to even be believable.

The Evil Witch is going to get slaughtered over the experience issue.

"Did he really turn around the state of Massachusetts?" No, he did not. He would of had to stick it out, get re-elected, rebuild the Republican party. Which would be difficult, but doable.
Presently, Massachusetts politics is as if Mitt was never here, if not even worse, as Mitt kind of rode the sick, weak Republican Party until it dropped dead. Mitt to Massachusetts Republicans, Drop Dead.
"Seems to me its more corrupt and delusional than ever."
True, unbelievably true. Governor Deval Patrick is now booking non existing taxes, from non existing casinos into projections of Massachusetts, Inc., state budgets.

Seems to me its more corrupt and delusional than ever.Romney's Governership ended ... two years ago. Or somewhere around there.
State governments are constantly in flux. Hard to blame him for anything going on now.
Besides, some people believe that someone holding political office and corruption is a redundancy.

I can forgive his past flip-flopping on issues, I myself have changed my positions over the years. I think Mitt has the right experience, has the right temperament, has the right "look" (yes - unfortunately that is
very important), and in general the right stuff.
Rudy - sorry, he's a great guy but not right for us. I am a hunter and a sportsman, not an inner-city rube.
Fred - a great candidate and voice for Conservatives, but he should stick to acting
Flame away, this is just one person's opinion, at least I'm not a RuPaul supporter! LOL

If the primary were today, he’d have my vote. As a Michigander who is sick and tired of this being a blue state, I think Mitt has the best chance to win it, especially on the heals of Granholm’s latest tax increases.
And let’s face it...something’s got to trump Hilary with the female vote, and Mitt does have the looks and strong personality that will appeal to many, and could actually steal the female vote from her.
To: Rock&RollRepublican
Mitt was resume building, he wasn’t looking for any fights, and wasn’t going to get tired doing any retail politicking.
He got his ticket punched. One time. One election, ever. With no lasting monument or effect, and now he’s ready for the WH.

Did he really turn around the state of Massachusetts? Well, he completely destroyed and demoralized the state GOP, but he never seems to tout that accomplishment.

My wife and two daughters would vigorously disagree with you...
Might even be pretty feisty about it!
I hope you are sufficiently armed.

Well, that is kind of what he does for a living. He bought the decreted Republican Party and put it to use to get elected. It was a tool. To be used and disposed of when no longer needed. Very efficient of him. He used the party the way one would use an old truck. Don’t put any resources in it, and why should he of? He needed it one time. After that it was an expense center. Better to dump it.
In a way, it reminds me of Bloomberg. Parties are just vehicles for their own ambition. Parties in and of themselves, stand for nothing and mean nothing. They only mean whatever the person says they mean at the time.
Mitt stands for strong defense, families and economy.

Lost jobs and population and surrendered to the Gay Mafia.
No coat tails for his hopeful replacement, Left the Ma GOP far worse than he found it.
At least he got his assault weapons ban through.
To: Osage Orange
disagree in what way? with the assumption that she is likely to win the female vote? or that Romney could do well in that demographic?
I don’t really believe the former, but that is the “conventional wisdom” fed to us by the msm. (and Hannity, for one, asserts this daily). Every woman I personally know can’t stand her, including my wife. But I’ve always felt my wife was exceptional. :-)
