Correct me if I'm wrong but neither Mitt nor Rudi have had
the courage to use the proper and legal term (alien).
Pandering, flip-flopping, maybe. I couldn't describe anything those two do as "courage" or "political courage." So far Thompsom has shown both.

I don't expect anything else from Rudi, a liberal panderer.
Mitt may make himself irrelevant by lack of courage on speaking out on illegals, the merits of gun ownership for self-defense, etc.
Mitt is disappointing because, in many ways, he's such an excellent type of candidate, a great success in the business world, someone who could address the problems of debt and the entitlements explosion. But we need a candidate who can carry the fight to the Dims forcefully in our core Red states and draw in enough voters to have a chance with the indies and the Reagan Democrat types in Purple states.
Statements of real clarity like this one from Fred are what we need. Not overcooked and nuanced phrases.
