Fresh meat!
LOL!
At least this headline wasn’t, “RON PAUL STEALS CREDIT CARDS!” but I’m sure that post is coming.
Well, Ron Paul is trying to steal the Identity of a Republican.
“Well, Ron Paul is trying to steal the Identity of a Republican.”
Those small government federalist types are trying to infiltrate the party. Oh noes!
Hey, I heard a rumor that someone on FR said that Ron Paul steals credit cards.
Mitt Romney beat him to it.
Psst, pass it on. ;)
And the anti-war surrender-monkey types trying to infiltrate the party. Now, that's disgraceful.
Oh it'll come....just hang around for the heads exploding, complete with the photo-shops of Paul.
All of this was organized by white supremacists and Code Pink truthers in basements throughout America anyway.
“All of this was organized by white supremacists and Code Pink truthers in basements throughout America anyway.”
Indeed. I’m no Paul supporter but I still don’t like that he catches the blame for what those kooks do.
Good thing there isn’t any trying to do that. Simply one who wants to conduct war correctly with a declaration from congress and go after the ones responsible for 9/11 instead of nation building. You know be a conservative.
Let’s see:
Ron Paul
or
Liberals running as Democrats
Liberals running as Republicans
I guess the other feasible option would be a Libertarian. But if one has conservative values, should they vote for a conservative, or a liberal that is running as a Republican ?
I don’t see why the conservatives have had to sacrifice their principles by cowering to the democrats. Why not stand your ground with conservative principles ?
“Liberals running as Democrats
Liberals running as Republicans”
I think it comes down to different people’s definitions of “liberalism” and “conservatism”. I seriously doubt my definitions of those words match up with the majority of Freepers.
Also, some have an issue understanding politics. The politics of a free people is about compromise. No compromise is the two wolves and a sheep at dinner thing.
I was pretty much looking at the field of candidates running as Republicans, and see liberal traits amongst them all.
But the problem is, Republicans have been slowly compromising and assuming these liberal traits, so traits which were once liberal, are now starting to present themselves as conservative traits.
There are too many, even here that are only Republicans because of a particular issue, and then when the other issues come up, they aren’t sure which side of the fence they’re on. So they look to their guy which agrees with them on a sole issue, and then agree with his other, non-conservative views.
This goes for gun issues, abortion, education, farm subsidies, etc. Folks make their opinions on a whim, not ensuring they are aligned with their other principles, creating the hypocrisy that plagues us today.
Compromising is typically in the form of getting your way on one issue, when you don’t get your way on another issue. And when you’re dealing with folks that pass legislation on a “this sounds good at the time” mindset, that’s dangerous, as they don’t really care about removing our individual, inherent rights, as long as it sounds good at the time.
Hey, did you hear that Ron Paul’s short? Ha ha.
It’s time for people to run for Ron Paul’s congressional seat. The gas left the rectum.

“If he did not approve of their tactics he could always disavow them, but he doesnt.”
Thank you for demonstrating my point. You think Ron Paul should have a press conference to distance himself from a person who tried to make a charge of $5 dollars on someone’s debit card.
That is a prime example of delusional hatred trumping common sense. You should apply for a job at Media Matters. I suspect they would hire you in a second.
