ROCHESTER - There is a new debate in Monroe County related to Governor Spitzer's plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. The debate has worked its way into the county legislature races. It has to do with a campaign mailing sent out by the Republican Party.
It is not so much what it says but what it shows that has members of the Islamic community upset. The flyer suggests that county legislature democrats want to license potential terrorists and the literature contains images intended to depict terrorists.
"Seeing these things are very wrong for me to see it in that way it means someone is profiling me that I'm a terrorist," said Dr. Muhammad Shafiq.
Dr. Shafiq is the Imam at the Islamic Center on Westfall Road in Rochester. He says the images are offensive to Muslims and believes the Republican Party is using fear tactics to persuade voters.
"Especially as a Muslim, it looks very very wrong the way they portrayed the pictures as linking Arabs and terrorism, equalizing them to terrorism, is racial profiling," said Dr. Shafiq.
County clerk Cheryl Dinolfo disagrees.
"I really do take issue with that way of thinking because, again, that piece is about not one particular nationality," said Dinolfo.
Dinolfo says licensing illegal immigrants could jeopardize the security of the entire nation. She uses 9/11 as an example.
"The fact remains that there were terrorists who came into this country and harmed our country using licenses to do so," said Dinolfo.

Those are the facts. It's not like anyone is making up a new stereotype ~ the Arabs tolerated these pukes until they themselves created the stereotype.

Ignore the complainers and continue to use the offensive images and you will win. Cower and remove them and you lose because you show that even if you are against the practice, you have no strength, will, or cojones to see it through and if you will cave to the enemy on a complaint how will you accomplish anything at all?
Why does the media keep paying attention to “muslim outrage?”

The problem is that our existence offends CAIR and the like and even that is apt to come up in the courts as the last project after all our practices and possessions become adjudged offensive and therefore illegal. It is happening pretty fast in England and we are showing signs of taking it up seriously, too.

These individuals have learned to play the whiney “I’m offended” game. They have learned that only non-White and non-Christians can win this game. But for them the rules are very simple. Whatever you complain about, no matter how ridiculous, if you’re complaining about a White or Christian, YOU WIN!
Would they feel more at home perhaps if the campaign flyers detonated?

Dr. Shafiq should spend more time being outraged at the actual terrorists. Either they have hijacked his religion or they are at the core of his religion. His reaction tells me they are at the core.

They are outraged about everything. No footbaths. Remving thier turbans at security checks. A student eating a pork sandwhich. Somebody carrying a Miss Piggy doll. On and on and on.
What I find offensive is that we are adjusting our way of life to accommodate them. Why? It is OUR country, ain’t it?
And all were Arabs. Most from Saudi Arabia, a few from the Emirates and one from Egypt. (Atta, the cell leader).

Under federal "motor voter" law, anyone receiving a driver's license automatically may register to vote.
Nothing but the "honesty" of illegal aliens prevents them from breaking one more law, and voting in American elections.
Yet Hillary Clinton thinks we should give driver's licenses to illegal aliens.

So the Muslims are offended? What else is new? They get offended at everything-except the killing of non-muslims. Why should I care if they get offended? Why don’t they care if Americans get offended by the actions of Muslims? They expect everybody to bend over backwards to not offend them. It’s about time the muslims in America learn that the Constitution never guarantees a person will not be offended.
I for one and sick and tired of the continual whining, carping, and complaining that muslims do every time their “delicate sensibilities” get offended. If they can’t take life in the US, they can leave (or go back) to a country that practices Sharia law.
Why don’t you report on how non-muslims are offended by Muslims? I’m offended by the special treatment that muslims get in this country. Why don’t you report on how I’m offended? I've been saying the same thing for the last ten months, ThanhPhero. There have been a few potential flashpoints since last December where an attack on Iran was justified, but 'diplomacy' was chosen, instead.
But time has run out on any diplomatic solution. Iran has reached the tipping-point with the number of its' Uranium enrichment centrifuges, and is adding more capacity as it has reached Industrial Production status.
This means that there will probably be an atmospheric release of radioactive materials if they're destroyed today, but that release, though a bad thing, would be minimal. Six months from now, that radioactivity release would be catastrophic, and another 'Chernobyl' in the Middle-East oil countries would be a very bad thing.
The weekends of Novenber 9th and December 7th are new-moon weekends in the 'Dark Months' (shorter days, longer nights). The USA Military is very effective in the dark-of-the-moon, and it would be a good idea to be ready every weekend from now on.
