SAN ANTONIO -- A University of Texas at San Antonio student is in the planning stages of forming a pornography club on campus, station KSAT 12 reported.
The student, Riley Jackson Starr, is posting fliers on campus in hopes of recruiting at least five students to Club X, which would watch and discuss sexually oriented materials.
"We'll look to see if it violates any of our policies here at UTSA," said Vice-President David Gabler said.
He added that Starr has yet to submit the proper paperwork, which would need to be reviewed by attorneys.
Starr would also be required to get a professor to be an official adviser, which hasn't happened yet.
"You know, this is our school and we want to project a good image to other people and other schools," a male student said. "And so, to have kids in Club X would kind of give us that bad impression."
"I don't think sexual activity should be brought to our school other than for informational purposes," a female student said.
In her MySpace.com page, Starr claims to be strip club dancer.

If I told my parents I belonged to such a group, they would have pulled any financial support and tossed my bags to the curb.

I wonder if Ms. Jackson works at Sugar’s. If I hear she does work at Sugar’s, I would then wonder if Sugar’s owner, Glen Williams suggested the Porn Club in order to drum up support for Boobie Rock.
For those,not in SA, Boobie Rock is a strip club which will not be opening at present due to an injunction granted to nearby residents and businesses protesting the club’s proximity to elementary schools, and neighborhoods.
Boobie Rock would like to open just two exits (on I-10) from UTSA Blvd (and UTSA). If anyone hears where Ms. Jackson plies her skills, I am curious. It seems odd that there was no desire to open a porn club until Boobie Rock got slapped with the injunction.
I didn’t look at her blog, but from her myspace frontpage, it seems Paris Hilton is her idol.She almost seemed like a caricature, rather than a real person. Odd.

In answer to my own question, it looks like Riley Jackson “Starr” works at Perfect 10 Gentleman’s Club which is owned by Glen Williams.
Her Porn Club gig is really just her acting as a shill for the neighborhood pariah. No wonder Paris Hilton is her idol.

Lets see... Riley Jackson Starr is her stripper name. Her real name can be found in the Smithson Valley High School 2006 graduating class. Everyone at the school recognizes her national pictures especially ex-band members.
She is telling everyone its a school sponsored activity and then actively soliciting students to make porn movies as well as watch them. This isn’t theory, its fact.
My son was invited to a lingerie porn show last week and politely declined.
She said when she asked to be a school sponsored group, UTSA didn’t even ask what the group did, just that she needed a faculty sponsor, which she hasn’t been able to get.
