I’m not in the least bit surprised. I thank God these cretins were not around during the Revolutionary or Civil Wars.

I will assuredly do so. Thank you for the support you’ve given to our troops.

I salute your son’s service and thank God he now can get a break home with family and friends. The ToD was no cakewalk.

Many thanks for your support. I know that their mission was difficult. The 2nd BCT/10th Mountain suffered 52 casualties over 15 months. Prayers for the families of those lost.

Your son’s boots and my nephew’s boots most probably hit the same spots on the dusty roads and FOB many a time as they performed their missions in the triangle of death area over a three year span. I on a pesonal level can share in your relieve at this point. What a grand feeling it is to see them march into the receiving areas upon their returns to this blessed land.

It would be if I could be there. Unfortanately we’re on the West Coast and could not take the time from work to be there. We are there in spirit.

"We are there in spirit."
I know what you mean. I missed my nephew's second coming home.
