For every 50 million dollar contract let out in the movies, sports, or other entertainment, or for each CEO’s multi-million dollar payout—you and I are coughing up our hard earned dough if we happen to buy products from the companies that are involved. Someone has to pay for those outrageous salaries.
It’s interesting. We whine and whine about the wealth that is transferred in taxes to cover handouts to the poor, why aren’t there equal complaints to the “handouts” the rich get?
I would venture a good portion of revenue gets “transferred” under the name of capitalism. Seems like both ends of the spectrum are getting the goods. I believe in captialism but I think greed and these ridiculous salaries are killing the little guy.

I coughed up a penny once... Never coughed up dough. I almost did once when someone said “what kind of dough do you think they make dill bread out of?”
