I’ve seen it before.

Fred and Jeri Thompson for an example...however...she was 35 when they married. BIG difference.

Either way my point was more that while one MIGHT accept it if he were not the ex-husband of three women who died in mysterious circumstances...it looks bad.

Whatever.

There is a difference when:

A-the groom hasn’t had 3 wives die under mysterious circumstances
B-the bride herself is old enough to buy alcohol
C-neither one shows signs of gold-digging or “looking-for-my-daddyism”

I have two Yorkies that follow me around and give me the that Yorkie stare.

The 1 1/2 pound female teacup actually dominates the 10 pound male, and one could say she runs the entire household, including my wife and my two sons.

I read on a thread here last nite by fishblog that wifey #3 was found dead in a DRY bathtub with multiple contusions and bloody.

Coroner ruled it an accident. Hmmmmm

This fellow is up to no good IMO.

Wonder if any insurance settlements where involved.

The British had their conservatories and greenhouses where they grew a lot of stuff all year round.

I read on another forum where a woman claimed hotels do not hire people under 18. She thought Petersen’s reference to the hotel where he met Stacy may actually have been the place for underage trysts.

Trying to nail down when Stacy first met Drew Peterson. Was she 17? He dated her while still married to #3. They have been married 4 years. He’s now 53 & she’s 23. She was pregnant when they married. According to the first reports - she was working in a hotel or a convenience store (?) and he got her a job at the police station.

Her mother disappeared 8 years ago - did he investigate that disappearance? Did he first meet Stacy then? Did he know or date her mother? He & 3rd wife were married 10 years. Do not know the history of 1st & 2nd marriages or their duration. This guy is a serial adulterer at the very least.

A woman in her 30s is not a 17 year old girl.

The former is an adult who has enough life experience to make her own decisions.

The latter is prey.

****who was the assignined investigating officer?***

Stacy’s family moved around a lot - so it’s not clear whether the mom disappeared from Bolingbrook. Stacy also had two siblings who died young - one in a house fire and one from SIDs. More recently a sister Tina, died of cancer age 40. Stacy has had a very tragic life for a 23 year-old.

Tragic indeed.

So at a young age she sees this older man as a stable father like figure that would help her along in life...or how ever one would phrase it.

Sorry.

I was talking about his latest wife. She was working at a hotel as a maid and he was doing security. She ended up pregnant from him at 17. He was married at the time. He dumped the woman and married the 17 year old Stacy .

Breaking 10pm Left Coast time:

Police entering inside Drew Peterson home with camaras and looking around now.

Drew Peterson unknown where abouts good friend of Drew’s says Peterson is safe but not forth coming of where he is.

His friend being interveiwed will not comment on his opinion of what happen to Stacy.

I wonder what they found to go in this late at night to take camaras in and do a search.

If Stacy supposedly ran away why are all the volenteers searching fields and water ways ect....hmmmm

He took off on his motorcycle a couple of days ago to "clear his head." I am confident the police are right there with him (at least I hope).

If Stacy supposedly ran away why are all the volenteers searching fields and water ways ect....

I bet they have a profiler examining all of the husband's statements for clues, like "Stacy left with her bikini", referring to water, and another statement about her being underground.

I've never seen any info about his first two wives. I assume they are alive and well.

1 of 2 Friends and relatives of Stacy Peterson, 23, say her disappearance is suspicious.

What a strange sentence....she has only 2 friends?

“He took off on his motorcycle a couple of days ago to “clear his head.””

If he was innocent and concerned, he’d be searching for her.

GUILTY!

Apparently there is a grand jury being impaneled. Not sure if it is related to 3rd wife’s death.

There have been some questions about how old Stacy was when the much married police Sgt. was having a sexual relationship with her. Here’s a photo of the wedding when she was 19 and pregnant *again* - for she is holding their first child who appears to be about a year old. That means she was unmarried and pregnant with that child when she was 17 years-old.

Rick:
My friend, I was 20 and my wife was 16 and 2 days old when we married. We have been married for 62 years 8 months and 7 days. It was the best move I have ever made. We have 3 children, 6 grand children and 3 great grand children. I think that we will live to celebrate our 75th too.

Good evening and the very best to you and yours.

Congratulations!

Nothing unusual about your love story - in fact it was and is still cause to celebrate.

This Sgt. Drew Peterson liaison is quite different. Sex with minors by persons in a position of *authority* with an age difference of 30 years, is both unnatural and in all States, illegal (depending on the age of consent).

Congratulations. My wife and I have been married now for over 30 years. Working on the next 30. However, we’re a lot closer in age, one year apart. We had six children, lost one when she was only 6 days old.... long story there, bad surgery, bad doctors, bad MILITARY doctors then. Eleven grandkids (10 and one on the way).

This story is way different though, and the folks who instantly go off on young girls with older men stories are simply uninformed.

I’m sure there are a LOT of those kinds of marriages that do not end disaster or missing persons.

I am beginning to think, after this guy was married FOUR times, something wasn’t right at all at home. She’s missing. He’s a cop.

USUALLY that is a recipe for a bad story ending. Who better than a Cop to hide things?

If I was that girl’s father I’d have told her no way you are you marrying some 49 year old pervert. Those type of realationships do not end well.

Wonder if Oona O'Neill's father said something like that. (Of course, 99% of the time it's true...)

Update via wikipedia. "Eugene O'Neill was so incensed at the union (he had refused to give his consent so that Oona could marry Chaplin before her eighteenth birthday), that he cut her out of his life, refusing all attempts by her at a reconciliation." Chaplin was 54 and had been married 3x. The marriage to Oona lasted 35 years.

There are always some exceptions to the rule. I’m sure we could find a number of winter, spring romances that work out. But by and large I’ve got to question a 30 years age difference.
