(CNSNews.com) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is pressing advertisers to withdraw their sponsorship of Michael Savage's nationally syndicated radio program because of Savage's alleged "anti-Muslim bigotry."
Savage, on his Web site, is fighting back, urging his listeners to protect freedom of speech: "Email your representative; investigate CAIR for manipulating the U.S. media," his Web site says.
On Nov. 1, CAIR urged "radio listeners of all faiths" to contact companies that advertise on "The Savage Nation" to complain about an "anti-Muslim tirade" on Savage's Oct. 29 program. (CAIR periodically issues "incitement alerts," urging its members to contact various media outlets to express their concerns about "Islamophobic attitudes.")
CAIR was particularly disturbed by Savage's "shouted anti-Muslim attacks," which it quoted as follows:
-- I'm not gonna put my wife in a hijab. And I'm not gonna put my daughter in a burqa. And I'm not getting' on my all-fours and braying to Mecca. And you could drop dead if you don't like it. You can shove it up your pipe. I don't wanna hear anymore about Islam. I don't wanna hear one more word about Islam. Take your religion and shove it up your behind. I'm sick of you.
-- What kind of religion is this? What kind of world are you living in when you let them in here with that throwback document in their hand, which is a book of hate. Don't tell me I need reeducation. They need deportation. I don't need reeducation. Deportation, not reeducation. You can take C-A-I-R and throw 'em out of my country. I'd raise the American flag and I'd get out my trumpet if you did it.

In fact, I have protested through the CAIR sister group in Saudi Arabia CIAR (Council of Islamic American Relations).
Didn’t really work out though. Turns out they had all been beheaded for being ‘Infidels’.
Why can’t we behead CAIR for being our version of ‘infidel’?
I would reverse this boycott and threaten any advertiser who pulls his support because he’s intimidated by these barbarians. You knew what you were getting into when you sponsored Savage, so if you back out now because the ragheads are rattling you, then you are nothing but cowards.
I have a friend at Frito-Lay who said he has hung up on them. There are only 2.5 million Muslims in the United States. CAIR makes a lot of noise, but Mike Savage makes them a lot of MONEY. No contest. This will go away within a week.
Another reason to listen to Savage!
It has a nice ring to it.
Perhaps the ACLU will step in and protect Mr. Savage’s rights to free speech, against CAIR......(yeah, when Mohammed, er pigs, sprout wings and fly.)

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Savage is paying CAIR to protest in order to help drive up ratings.
The recent blizzard of noose hoaxes is distorting your worldview. Savage knows better than we do that a person in his position offering even fair criticism of Islam will bring the wrath of CAIR in the same way smacking a hornet nest with a bat brings a response. The reaction is predicable and immediate, with all the resources of the hive being put to use.
I don’t get a chance to hear Savage, but someone should post his sponsors so we could support them.
That said I can't dispute his premises but after an hour of listening I have to stay away from sharp objects and building ledges.

LOL, indeed I cringe when I hear some of his callers:
"Hello Doctor Savage, love the show. Here's my question, well not a question really, more like a concern: I read about the foot-washing stations in Minnesota, and how some gym has to have a separate Muslim area, even separate from the regular women's area, and my question is, I'm worried, where does it end?"
"Are you worried about becoming a dhimmi? Are you worried when they'll force you to pray to their false god five times a day? Is that what you're worried about? Are you worried that you won't be able to watch your television set any more, or drive your car? Are you worried that they'll burn your neighbor's house down because he's a Jew? (etc. for like two minutes)..."
One of these days I half expect to hear a gunshot at the other end of the call.
You're right. Why buy the Imam when you can get the rage for free.
