American Values?
During the Iraq war, American troops were instructed to use specially equipped tanks to bulldoze the trenches that held Iraqi soldiers- Not a single American was hurt, so meager was the resistance. Thousands of Iraqis, teenagers coerced into the army by the dictator Hussein, were buried alive, while the unprecedented military tactic was hidden from the public through media censorship. Captain Benny Williams, who Led the charge was awarded the Silver Star for his role. Also hidden: the apparent fact that many of the rag-tag teenage soldiers were trying to surrender as they were entombed.

I have all of Ron Paul's old newsletters and will be posting all of this drivel--all of it documented and published in Ron Paul's name at his expense.

You really don’t understand what is going one here do you.
The Neo Cons have permeated the conservative movement to the point of criminality.
Ron Paul is the only real conservative candidate who understands the Constitution and how our founding fathers intended for our government to work.
He know the whole Iraq war was just a Wilsonian ploy by the neo cons...
Oh hell I can do it, I am laughing so hard I can’t see through the tears...

I don't believe this claptrap for a minute. What a HORRIBLE accusation to make against our troops!
If there were any truth to this at all, other leftist moonbats in Congress would have delightedly been all over this long ago. And Iraqis would have raised a flag on this.
What a loathesome man Ron Paul must be to perpetrate crap like this.

Ah yes, the famous ‘surrender’ ploy the Iraqis used in Desert Storm.
The Iraqis would walk out with their hands up, tank turrets reversed, etc, and once they got within range of our guuys, the turrets would spin about (try to) and the soldiers would pull out pistols.
Chuck Horner recounts just such an event in “Every Man A Tiger” if memory serves.

Y’know, it might well have happened. We did bulldoze trenches in Gulf War I, I remember reading about it—they had to do it to get the tanks across. And there might’ve been Iraqi soldiers in there. So what?
Rule #1 of war: SHIT HAPPENS. People die, not all deservedly, and many in horrible ways.
It’s war, Rep. Paul. Not Chutes and Ladders.

Primary objective in that battle, but the primary objective is not the only objective. We have two main battles going on, Iraq and the greater WOT. Our generals are using Iraq as the battlefield to draw out the jihads. I would suggest picking up Tommy Frank’s book. Listen to people who know a little about what’s going on, not your surrender monkey hero.

Its only slander if it isnt true, got a link suggesting it was fabricated? Wow, you are a clown.
Instead of asking me to prove a negative, why don't you ask your cult leader Ron Paul to provide the slightest hint of a fragment of evidence to back up his vile and vicious claim against a decorated war hero?
Americans don't assume than any random idiot is automatically correct when he accuses American soldiers of atrocities without any documentation. They demand that the accuser provide evidence of guilt - they do not ask that American soldiers provide proof of their innocence.

Hi and welcome to FreeRepublic. Since the orientation schedule is not out for the month, let me help you by presenting some information from our founder:
Statement by the founder of Free Republic:
In our continuing fight for freedom, for America and our constitution and against totalitarianism, socialism, tyranny, terrorism, etc., Free Republic stands firmly on the side of right, i.e., the conservative side. Believing that the best defense is a strong offense, we (myself and those whom I'm trying to attract to FR) support the strategy of taking the fight to the enemy as opposed to allowing the enemy the luxury of conducting their attacks on us at home on their terms and on their schedule.
Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.
Please enjoy the rest of your stay with us here and feel free to enjoy the buffet, if you can find it, we can't...
