I agree and unless we can figure out a way to get better people in office we are going to lose the freedom our ancestors bequeathed us.
I have my policy disagreements with GWB, and I could find fault with his political skills if I so chose, but the man brought us Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Bolton, John Roberts, Sam Alito, and many other fine appointees. President Bush is a good man surrounded by good men and anyone who considers himself a conservative and yet fails to recognize the quality of many of the President’s highly-placed appointees is simply playing games, in my opinion.
I agree and also find it amazing that the sheep have fallen victim to the Democrats old ploy of attacking political strengths.
Their strategy attempted to use deception from the begining i.e., Joe Wilson, and then to attempt to trick their opponent into positions of weakness, i.e., the Baker Hamilton group but our President remained resolute.
Now as the surge takes hold in Baghdad and victory is truly at hand the Democrats position of cut and run will look more foolish everyday.
I know the majority loves to celebrate victory and honor our champions. It is also important that our side get out and start championing the surge and telling Americans the truth. If the Democrats had their way they would have redeployed our troops out of Iraq in 2005/2006 with a gurantee of defeat and a breeding ground of terrorist training camps and an insurmountable Iranian force to contend with as its ambitions for nuclear weapons came to fruition.
Well as far as this one article goes, by far the most important takeaway is that Saddam would NEVER willingly give up his WMD and especially his nuke aspirations; he would immediately resume research and production at the earliest possible date. His deception programs may have (successfully) led outsiders to believe he had a lot more going on in the WMD dept. because he wanted to keep Iran fooled.... but can anyone seriously doubt that he would have resumed WMD development and production at the earliest possible moment?? One clear finding of the post-war reports was that Saddam’s regime did take care to maintain “rapid build” capabilities for both chem and bio weapons, so that at any moment after sanctions were ended Saddam would have been back in business within 6 months or less.
The fact that he confirmed to this FBI agent that he would have pursued nukes again at the earliest possible date means it was well worth taking him out (NOT that the war was only about WMDs, as the dishonest ‘RATs have since pretended was the case).
Testimonies of muslims that have converted to Christianity talk of this over and over again. They know Jesus Christ shed His blood to save us all. Muslims think, they must shed their blood to have even a hope of eternal life. Sad ;o(
That is what I have been saying for the longest time. i think of them as the scum of the country club. Just passive do nothing country club Republican’s and people say I am sounding like a Dem. We need people who have a program that is right for the time and that holds the base and reach’s out to most of the people in this country. And the leadership that will march thoruogh hell to accomplish it. That sure as heck ain’t the Bush’s.
These American infidels are lying about Saddam crying. There is failure on the part of the FBI traitor Piro to tell the truth. These cowards have no morals. They have no shame about lying.
I thought you all might like to chime in!
