Ho Hum, another slap at the U.S. we will turn around and ignore...
"According to participants, with its stance the United States corroborated its disrespect of multilateralism, and its once again arrogant style in an international event."
I wonder which little commie dictator's representative said this, probably Chavez's little toad since it concerns his good buddy Castro.

The U.S. needs to declare "The World Radiocommunication Conference" illegal.

Yawn. Unless this resolution has the force of law (e.g., if the USA is treaty-bound to honor it), who cares? Besides, we aren’t jamming Cubans’ transmissions. We’re giving them additional things to listen to, if they dare to risk the wrath of Castro by listening to them.

The World Radiocommunication Conference?
Says who? Screw them... it’s not Marcone and they don’t own the air.

The broadcasts will continue until the Castro regime is gone and freedom returns to the island.
The WRC can go fornicate itself.

Yeah, well, apparently we helped pay for this conference, according to the FCC website. It was organized by the International Telecommunication Union, and is part of the — SURPRISE! — United Nations.

Forgot to say the source of this article, Prensa Latina, is the Cuban government’s news service, the Cuban version of the old sTass.

Translation: There is a radio program that criticizes Cuba.
I remember the Cubans threatened to jam all radio in the US if we didn’t stop broadcasting free radio towards Cuba. We threatened to bomb them if they did. end of discussion

Is it? I was wondering, it was linked from another site and I had never heard of it before. It had that progressive / commie feel to it on the page.

OF course its freedom speech, but its what is being said that the world objects to. Had it been praising Fidel there would never have been a peep from anyone.
