[history]
| We were outnumbered...by the good guys from Gathering of Eagles (GOE)! They were in town to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Vietnam Wall Memorial Wall. These Eagles already had all 4 corners crowded before Mr Trooprally arrived at 6:40. Suzanne said she had been out there since 1pm!
GOE Honor Roll: From North Carolina: YakFisher, Bubba Ross , Don M., Jaime S., Larry H., Lauri H., Trisha H., Doug L., Diane M., Cody, Chad, Henry M., erin-coda
From Pennsylvania: Doc L.
From Maryland: TJ, Suzanne, Pat M., Kevin M.
From Belize: Jim
From Virginia: Jim H., Candice, Phil, and baby daughter K., YorktownPatriot and DarthYorktown
From New Jersey: Frank, Little (F-something?? I can't read it.)
DC Chapter Freepers: BufordP, BillF, [Mr and Mrs] Trooprally, JoyJoyfromNJ, CindyTrueSupporter, VictoryNY, PresUSA222, Chief, kburi
AND Freeper eaglesnest1 visting from California. Be sure to check out her website Eagles Nest Foundation devoted to providing troops in Iraq and Afghanistan Christian materials.
You can watch and listen to YakFisher give "what for" to a useful idiot anti-war protestor here. YakFisher is one of the co-founders of MilitaryAppreciationDay.org
I'm afraid I can't provide good captions to many of the photos for all the fine people that I do not know save for the few I had a chance to talk to. The DC Chapter is extremely grateful to all of the Eagles and out-of-town Freepers. These people serve the troops in numerous ways.
Enjoy the pics!

Rained all day, and chilly, but that didn’t keep the Eagles from staying away. They are a great bunch of patriots.
Count: FReepers, Eagles, Lurkers = 35 Moonbats = around 6
The Eagles enjoy walking down to the moonbats and verbally engaging them. The normal AARs from their trip down the block: They don’t have a clue, What morons, 'Bleep', 'Bleep'
Thanks to all of our out-of-towners who came by to support the troops.

Thank you for id’ing some of the photos. I can confirm that Yorktown Patriot was present; even if I couldn’t remember their screennames, I recognized their very comfy, very WARM hunting boots. I was a bit envious of those boots back in March I think it was. . .

Outstanding!
There are a couple of '60s throwbacks in my neighborhood that have those plastic signs on metal holders in their yards that proclaim "PEACE", and "Support the Troops, Stop the War". I bet there'd be a market for clones of the sign, "We Gave Peace A Chance, We Got 911"
