WOLF TURNS 'LAMB'; CLINTON CAMPAIGN SAYS CNN HOST 'OUTSTANDING'
Drudge Report ^

CNN debate moderator Wolf Blitzer did an 'outstanding' job in Vegas, a senior adviser to the Hillary campaign said early Friday. 'He was outstanding, and did not gang up like Russert did in Philadelphia. He avoided the personal attacks, remained professional and ran the best debate so far. Voters were the big winners last night.'
A rival campaign insider charges: 'Wolf turned into a lamb. No follow-up question on Clinton's huge flip on drivers licenses?'

Imagine if - after a 2000 Presidential debate - the Bush campaign said that a FOX News moderator was "outstanding." We would never hear the end of how the Republicans are trying to control the media.
But since this is Hillary/CNN/Democrats, I guess it's okay.

It looked to me like a socialist controlled debate — a controlled moderator, controlled questions, placid answers, tedious, repetitious, predictable answers with little substance. The debate was as exciting as a typical NPR broadcast. ...something to anticipate when the Democrats take over the Administration.

You can always tell a “Lamb” in Wolf’s clothing. He was “warned” beforehand, so he “chickened” out. Lots and lots of BS lying around too...now we know how farmers feel every day. Pitiful bunch of boobs. (Not the farmers...THE POLITICIANS).

I’m a fairly opened minded guy...never been a straight party ticket puncher, and I listen to NPR on occasion...that being said, I have NEVER seen such a sham of what is supposedly an unbiased event...not that I give a good hoot in hell about most of the suits from either party this “race”, but CNN definitely jumped the shark with that fiasco last night...the spin, that started about 30 seconds after the conclusion was simply incredible- the fix is in, ladies and gentlemen...

Chris Wallace on F&F was very critical of CNN...Wolf okay, okay, okay was like Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon II. Says he only watched half because he was turning stupid. Wonders about the cheering section for Mrs. Clinton.
Fox was cheerleading for Mrs. Clinton this morning. Frank Luntz chatting with the Friends was GUSHING!!! His audience meters plunged during Obamas attack and soared with her tired, lame kitchen line. He chose 5 audience members who just raved and raved over her performance, her direct answers to FIX everything. One poor fellow said that she wore pantsuits because she is the only one who wears the pants.

Notes to self:
1. Wolf's beard makes him look like a probing and intelligent man.
2. Hillary's hair, makeup, and jacket co-ordinated well with the ghastly CNN background. The other candidates looked terrible.
3. 35 years ago, Shirley Chisholm was the first woman and the first African-American to run for Presidential nomination of the Democratic party. She got 151.95 votes from delegates to the 1972 convention.

>>What I just kept thinking as the debate ran on was how much of a total goober Edwards sounded like... He just sounded like more and more of an idiot as the night ran on...<<
I think Blitzer failed to do his job to ask for clarifications. For example, the following exchange is fogbound, and Blitzer did not follow up. Result is that Edwards sounded like a fool (although he might have had a follow-up explanation ready) and Hillary made a response that sounded like an effective counterpunch:
Edwards: She says she will bring change to Washington, while she continues to defend a system that does not work, that is broken, that is rigged and is corrupt.
Hillary: I don’t mind taking hits on my record on issues, but when somebody starts throwing mud, at least we can hope that it’s both accurate and not right out of the Republican playbook.
For him to be throwing this mud and making these charges I think really detracts from what we’re trying to do here tonight. We need to put forth a positive agenda for America.

Please stop spreading that rumor that the questions were prescreened. That is untrue.
Hillary wrote the questions so there was no need to pre-screen.
Wolf, “Hillary, you are really the ultimate woman. Smart, beautiful, loving, caring, love animals and little children.”
Silky Pony, “Wolf, is there a question in there somewhere?”
