the story on the Leavenworth killing is in the book Hothouse on said prison.
She was a wife of an LT there and they held her hostage behind a barricaded office with reinforced glass while they systemically raped and sodomized and tortured her in front of her husband and others before slitting her throat.
They were hardcore lifers with jackets full of bodies.
Very sad.

I’ll never understand how a society that considers itself “civilized” allows murderers, rapists and child molesters to live.
These same nations have no problem murdering innocents in the womb.
SICK.
