If Alan Colmes turns up at your Thanksgiving get-together sporting a couple shiners and a re-arranged smile, don't press the poor guy if he claims to have walked into a door. The FNC host just got clobbered by a certified DC heavyweight -- Bob Novak.
Novak was a guest on this evening's Hannity & Colmes. Colmes first questioned the venerable reporter about the item he published this week regarding the Clinton campaign's claim to have a scandalous story about Barack Obama. For the record, Novak stated this evening that since first reporting the story, "I've had substantiation from another source, another very, very good source, who with his own ears heard Clinton people putting out" allegations about Obama.
That's when Colmes decided to press his luck. Mistake.

He actually did realize what a drubbing he had taken. At the end of the video clip you can hear Colmes begging for “generosity” from Novak.
Colmes has completely come unhinged and whoever books Novak and Morris deserves a raise.

Saw that it was great put down on Colmes. I can’t stand the Colmes because he interrupts his opponents to the point where you can’t hear what they say. Novak acted like his father slapping him down intellectually of course.

Others probably remember the movie “Tom Jones.” One of the characters in that movie was a Mr. Bliffle - Holmes is a dead ringer in both appearance and personality.

The liberal Democrats continue to crack me up with their total inability to think linearly. Alan is just the latest pathetic example. It’s amazing, isn’t it? To people like us, people who think normally, it is obvious that once Novak reported about Valerie Plame, based on information he received from Richard Armitage, it became impossible for anyone else to “leak” the same information since information which is already in the public domain no longer qualifies as information which can be “leaked”.
There was one “leaker”, Richard Armitage, and that’s it. Case closed. This McClellan nonsense is merely buffoonish garbage thrown out there by his book publisher as a “teaser” to try to sell books. Gee, that’s real hard to figure out. Yawn.
I think this was essentially the point Novak made to Colmes (though with considerably less words than the verbose Lancey Howard!)

Yet another reason why Alan Colmes is simply unwatchable. I refuse to waste another second of my life listening to that puling, drooling weasel who does nothing but read DNC talking points and his latest email bulletin from “Media Matters” — Colmes is a mindless liberal tool.

I hope someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s my understanding from my quick reads on FR and fragments of info from Fox News that McLellan was either MISquoted or quoted so badly out of context that the widely reported claims are pure horsehockey. That said, I never thought he was very effective as a press secretary.
'Rat tactic--the more you interrupt, the more you make your opponent look either incoherent or failing that, the more you can obfuscate his message. The idea is not to interview, but to discredit. Novak skillfully handled every bit of it, and I wish he would give "interview" lessons to other conservatives, because most of them haven't a clue how to deal with these tactics.
Colmes has been getting his lying ass kicked regularly as of late. I think people who go on that show are wising up to his bullying tactics and calling him on it.
Alan's resistance is amazing to behold. Then realized, that only total ignorance or a 'anti-truth vaccine' could be the explanation.
To Alan's favor; have gone with the 'medical option'.
Our Repubs need tactical solutions for winning a ‘political WAR’. And only those who pass; should be made available for public comment; public discourse and debate.
