Is that an ethnic slur?
The Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court both declined to overturn the judge’s order
Methinks the Judge might have been correct
From the article, I think that’s what they call ‘ethnic intimidation’.
I fail to see a crime here. As far as I know, one is allowed to express contempt for a judge as long as court is out of session. First amendment and all that.
The limited information in the article implies that she may have been right in her decision. Witnesses not interviewed by the cops apparently gave the accused an alibi. She didn’t free him, she ordered a new trial. And higher courts let her decision stand.
She overturned the conviction of a KINDERGARTEN TEACHER accused of sex crimes?
Sorry, I can’t seem to find a way to care much about this ‘nasty letter’.
Me too. From what I recall there was no physical evidence, merely the words of children trying to say the "right thing".
Sounds to me like the prosecution and defense didn't do what prosecution and defense is supposed to do, and the judge did what judges are supposed to do.
