Woman Aborts Child To Help Save the Planet (Beyond Sick Alert!)
Fox News ^

Posted on 11/25/2007 9:36:08 AM PST by frogjerk

Giving birth is a burden on the world. This is according to British born, Toni Vernelli, 35, who had an abortion 10 years ago to ensure her carbon footprint would be kept to a minimum, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reported Sunday.

Vernelli -- who works for an environmental charity -- was later sterilized to help "protect the planet", the Mail reported.

"Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet," Vernelli told the Daily Mail, adding she believes bringing new life into the world only adds to the problem.

The Mail also reported that Sara Irving, 31, also underwent sterilization to because she felt "a baby would pollute the planet".

Irving’s become an environmentalist as a teenager, it was reported, when she realized saving the environment was her top and foremost priority in life. After going through several boyfriends she finally found her now husband Mark Hudson who is also an advocate of the ‘no kid’s policy’, according to the Mail.

Voluntary sterilizations would make more sense in the third world. If she was serious she would sell her assets and donate the proceeds to provide free procedures in Somalia or some such similar place.

Yeah, people are such a cancer on the planet. They have no part or role here. Lets just let the rats, bunnies, wild dogs and cockroaches take over and everything will be blissful.

It’s good that this bimbo didn’t have children, but on the other hand, hippies sometimes have children that become Republicans or Punk Rockers, the oppposite of mummy and daddy.

I guess she hasn’t counted on ceding the planet to the Republicans having large families and finally displacing all the whining socialists and envirowackos. I don’t think she thought that one out. Gee, too bad. One less socialistenvirowacko to kick around.

Irving’s become an environmentalist as a teenager, it was reported, when she realized saving the environment was her top and foremost priority in life.

There are two things that I find common to many liberals and their pet causes: usually the liberals believe that they must save the world (as if the world needs saving), and because the liberals refuse to grow their groups organically (by having children of their own), they tend to target the children of others, mostly non-liberals, for indoctrination and participation in their nonsensical schemes.

Also, the liberals usually end up creating more problems rather than solving them...and then they blame someone else for the problems, which they leave to others to fix.

I’ll pay for her to make a phone call to Dr. Kervorkian. Then she can really reduce her carbon footprint, since all living humans exhale carbon dioxide.

True. What this woman doesn't seem to get is that child she should have had and cared for was someone. He could have been a great scientist to help solve energy problems, or he could have been someone that didn't contribute much. Either way, the child was created in the image of God, with a will and an intellect.

All liberals/socialists/democrats/eco-Nazis/totalitarians must sterize themselves immediately like these ideologically pure young women.

In only one short generation, the world will definitely be an astonishingly better place.

One the THE stupidest things I have ever heard anyone say - but I do appreciate that she will not be having any children - she would be a rotten mother.

Back to her remark, I guess she's saying humans don't deserve to exist, just the animals? Stupid, stupid, stupid...............just plain stupid.

Most likely since nobody was really talking about carbon footprints 10 years ago. I guess the 10 years of guilt she has been feeling needs to be justified in some way. I'm suprised it wasn't BUSH'S FAULT!

This gal has been getting a lot of press attention lately, and her "story" has been posted here on FR two or three times already (from different sources).

Methinks she is soon going to regret her newfound fame.

Then again, like Cindy Sheehan, she may "bask in the glow".... :)

This, is a fine example of what Lenin wanted to create, “the new socialist man”, bereft of rational thought, endlessly chanting jingoistic slogan's, and intolerant of those less zealous. In short, a emotional basket case with a ring in its nose for the aristocracy to use to keep it in line. Definitely Eloy material, one of the party faithful.

I heard Eleanor Clift say on the McLaughlin Group when asked which was more dangerous, a terrorist attack or the combustion engine. Clift, McLaughlin, and a woman who writes for a liberal journal said.....the combustion engine. Blankley and Buchanan said a terrorist attack was much more dangerous to the way of life in the United States.

I guess this idiot women would be tickled pink if 100% of women in the world were sterilized.... that would certainly reduce the carbon footprint of childbirth.

Of course, there is the little issue of survival of the species - but I guess that is selfish too...

Seems to be that with such lacking brainpower, it is a good thing this woman was sterilized. It is just unfortunate that she had to murder her unborn baby to make the statement first...
